Yea its worse when you think about the angles that led to him being mando. Lost his last fight. Hasn't fought in 2 years. Got Canelo fight after alleged controversy vs Dirrell got him a mando shot & Dirrell losing to Benavidez & then Benavidez losing the belt on the scales = Canelo gots the hand me down mando & then Anvi gets the payday of his life.

How does the WBC give Avni Yildirim mandatory status when his last fight was a loss and will be over 2 years ago by the time he fight Canelo. This **** makes literally no sense.

Didn’t Eddie Hearn say last year when there was talks of Yildrim that “it won’t happen on DAZN because the opponent is terrible and won’t be approved”

Everyone is complaining but Yildrim has been the mandatory since Benavidez held the title not Canelos fault at least he's staying active people on this forum will find any little thing to hate especially if it's a fighter who's race or ethnicity they hate which is pretty common here.

Yeah he lost his last fight but if you actually watched it the fight could've gone either way and it ended in a TD not like he got dominated the way Earbanks did him so he was kept in high ranking. People have selective memory don't forget that this is boxing there is a reason people work there way up the rankings and it's to get a mandatory shot how else would unknowns become champions it's happened time and time again not saying Yildrim is the one to do it but he deserves an opportunity just like everyone else who is Canelo supposed to fight? Plant is fighting Truax and Saunders wouldn't have enough time to lose weight to fight so soon anyways he said so himself he only trains for fights not in between.
