Lamont Peterson out points Danny Garcia. I had it a draw in 12. I had Peterson winning the last 6, Danny winning the first 6

i missed this fight but it did remind me of petersen vs ortiz fight which ended up in a draw n a 10 round fight 6-4 lamont but with 1 kd , it ended in a draw and rightfully so ...5 more rounds would've been a clear decision for petersen as well

I have to assume there were some other motivations for the change.
i think some of it was to get a fight within an hour time slot including commercials, intros ect

this was in the early 80s when boxing still had some standard TV fights.

I'd imagine Fury would have outboxed for him another 3 rounds.

And it still would have been scored as a draw.

Which reminds me of Andy Lee/Billy Joe Saunders. Andy Lee down twice in a round early but wins most of the rounds afterward. 2 more rounds Andy likely wins it. In fact, I thought he won anyway.

(Antonio was starting to apply pressure late fight, Cotto, after the first fight became a different fighter, I don't think he would have been mentally strong enough to survive to 15 that night.)

( It's obvious Salido was on the verge of being stopped)

              Broner vs Maidana
(People forget Broner start to rally late in the fight, not saying Maidana would lose, but not saying he would win)

              Maidana vs Khan
(Khan would have lost more rounds or got knocked out)
Margarita was stopped inside of the distance.

If it was a 15 round v 12, both boxers would approach the fight different and the outcomes would probably be the same?

I think it would have turned into a shootout. Fury went straight at him after he got put down. I think someone would have got stopped.

Yeah good shout. I had it 115-113 Danny but Peterson definitely swept the later rounds.

                      Besides those already listed.
Any of the early close Canelo fights when his stamina ******.
                      Whyte vs Parker.
Ward vs Kovalev 1. I think Ward wou'dve won convincingly if the fight went on.
Ward vs Froch. Cards were close and Froch was coming on.
