Fights that would have different outcomes if 15 rounds

    Lomancheko vs Lopez
(Even though Lopez rallied to get a late round after winning the first half, Loma was

    Margirto vs Cotto 2
(Antonio was starting to apply pressure late fight, Cotto, after the first fight became a different fighter, I don't think he would have been mentally strong enough to survive to 15 that night.)

    Lomancheko vs Salido
( It's obvious Salido was on the verge of being stopped)

    Broner vs Maidana
(People forget Broner start to rally late in the fight, not saying Maidana would lose, but not saying he would win)

    Maidana vs Khan
(Khan would have lost more rounds or got knocked out)

Oh I'm sure a bunch will come to me, this is a great thread idea

As much as I hate Junior, JCC might have stopped Sexy Sergio if it went 15.

Fury-Wilder 1 would have been interesting had it gone 15.

Do people really believe the real reason round count was dropped down to 12 from 15 was due to boxer health and safety? If that was really the truth and based on what we know today about CTE wouldn't the argument be made to cut the rounds down to only 5 or so now?

I have to assume there were some other motivations for the change.

Lomachenko had a supposed shoulder injury vs Lopez, he is quick to remind us of that. 3 more rounds would not have helped him. It may have actually further hurt his supposed bad shoulder. Injured shoulders don’t get better as the fight goes on.

This is the first semi-recent fight that came to mind for me cuz I was thinking that in real time...if only JCC Jr had more time.

That was probably his exact peak & best night even doe I think he was down 0-11 going into that last round.

Idk about the OP suggestion of Broner vs Maidana. I definitely agree Broner was still putting up a fight & seemed to have overcome his worst moments that night & had some of his own moments even if not as impressive as Maidana's moments, but I think Maidana was up so much that 9 minutes wasn't gonna change a whole lot & Maidana is a tough mfer who never got stopped. I don't think Broner woulda been that guy to stop him with more time on that night.

If guys can't stay sharp for those last 3 rounds, and Wilder can stay composed like always does outside or Wilder Fury 2 he stops every opponent imo.
