But really, it's the bodies. What does it take for the bodies to come together and agree an undisputed HW champion matters and what should obviously happen here is Fury-Joshua with Wilder-Usyk on the undercard. FFS, duh.

The thought of AJ vs Usyk on the undercard of a totally unnecessary Fury/Wilder trilogy that nobody needs or wants - including Wilder himself, if he was honest about it - is actually quite funny!

What should happen is that Wilder goes back to the Alabama bingo halls he was fighting in before he started piggy-backing AJ and Fury, AJ relinquishes the WBO title and fights Fury, Usyk fights Joe Joyce for the WBO, then the winners of Fury/AJ and Usyk/Joyce fight each other for the undisputed crown.

Usyk-Joyce on the under for AJ-Fury is pretty lateral. You basically just said "Good idea but I hate Wilder so take his name and shuffle it with one I do like and bingo jango I agree" Only with a bit of tude like you were actually making a point worth a ****.

any other division, the lineal guy from the lower division would instantly be considered a big player and ready for a title shot, think crawford going 140 to 147. But usyk hasnt looked great at heavy vs the lesser guys and the top 3 are all bigger heavyweights. nobody gives him much chance.

AJ had 2 mandos due, the IBF and the WBO. After talks between the 2 sanctioning bodies and AJ's team, he was ordered to fight Pulev next and Usyk immediately afterwards.

Usyk relinquished all his CW belts on the strength of a promised mandatory shot the WBO HW title. The move up to HW has cost him money and momentum. I think he could be in a position to sue the WBO if they don't stick to their rules.

I'm not sure how he could prove its cost him money. Continuing to fight as a cruiser wouldn't have earned him heavyweight $$$.

Easiest solution is for Joshua to fight his mandatory, and possibly Fury give wilder that third fight with all sides serving notice to the reso drive sanctioning bodies that unification (with a rematch clause) is next up
