Typically if Warren/Arum ask for it, they get it. Other guys need to work a bit harder though lol
Yes, I checked and I did misunderstand that rule. Green k sent for putting me straight.

However, in reality, these sanctioning bodies can do whatever they want! So, if they wanted to remain part of the big picture and get paid that sanctioning fee, I'm sure they could pass some kind of "extraordinary motion" to allow full unification!

      Or, if not, it's their call . . .

      Thanks.
AJ had 2 mandos due, the IBF and the WBO. After talks between the 2 sanctioning bodies and AJ's team, he was ordered to fight Pulev next and Usyk immediately afterwards.

Usyk relinquished all his CW belts on the strength of a promised mandatory shot the WBO HW title. The move up to HW has cost him money and momentum. I think he could be in a position to sue the WBO if they don't stick to their rules.

Also, as a curiosity, does this apply to if you drop in divisions? What if Usyk had decided to go collect the 175 light heavy belts? Would the WBO bump whomever is their #1 for Usyk?
Yes, the rule applies to moving down as well up to a new division.

Yeah, Canelo could have been BJS Mandatory before he dropped the 175 belt.

He still could be. WBO rules say that current champion status is not required to qualify or continue as a Super Champion. Usyk didn't become WBO HW mando until after he relinquished all his belts at CW.

So he could still apply until the Smith fight in a couple weeks? or even after that?

Regardless, it would never happen. Being a mandatory would make Canelo a "B Side" lol

Knowing what an awkward cunt BJS is, he would refuse to negotiate and tell Hearn to demand an immediate purse bid.

Yeah, I hate BJS. Still think Andy Lee won that fight.

It's looking more and more like Usyk-Joshu and Wilder-Fury III

                    So much for undisputed.

Can blame Wilder for him holding up Fury

Can blame Usyk for holding up Joshua

Can blame Wilder and Joshua for not working it out before Fury was in the picture

But really, it's the bodies. What does it take for the bodies to come together and agree an undisputed HW champion matters and what should obviously happen here is Fury-Joshua with Wilder-Usyk on the undercard. FFS, duh.

Why do we even have an auto-mando system and no auto-uni system? ****ing ******ed. That's dumb as **** and like ****, it's not good for boxing.

Floyd, Tyson, Ali, they were good for boxing. ****ing Akinwande never ****ing mattered. Making more Akinwandes does not equate to the economy around a Mike Tyson, **** y'all selves.

How many boxing videogames came out with any name they could grab to juxtapose against Mike's PunchOut? Exactly my goddamn point, this **** is not good for boxing, having one charismatic champion is.

**** Larry, Ali is the Greatest. Tired of the bodies being happy with Larrys when they could make a ****ing Ali.

Wilder hasn't backed out of his engagement with Fury either.

                      It's looking complicated.

Here's to it getting done sooner rather than later.
