He obviously had a long gestation period under Warren, but that's perhaps not his fault. Then you've got:

Tszyu fight - doesn't matter where it goes, this is a victory in and of itself. (Never mind that he was even dirtier than usual, for the purposes of this I'm talking about career trajectory, nothing else). Becomes The Man at 140 with one victory.

Maussa - secures bargaining status with another belt in the division.

Collazo - Paper champion to move into the more competitive 147 division.

Urko - Step back down when that didn't work, he's allowed one u-turn, right?

At the moment he's on my "observed" list. I've yet to be convinced he's hand picking opponents for the sake of it.
maussa- worst world champion in the history of boxing imo

collazo, was HBO approved for his debut for a paper title, won a very controversial decision

Urango- got a gift in his last fight got a gift draw vs MA , only had 18 fights

come on the maussa fight was a warm-up basically, same now with urango after scoring such a big win he has let his career fall further an further down

dont give me this its all warrens fault crap he has a choice on opponents aswel

It's like he's a naughty kid in the corner that's just knocked over and smashed my bottle of Jack Daniel's. He's telling me it was an accident, but I don't quite believe him.

So I'm saying "Wellllllllllllllll... okay, we'll let it go this time. But do it again and you'll be in ****ing trouble!"

All of the opponents you named are opponents he fought AFTER he split with Frank Warren. My comment about Warren had nothing to do with those fighters.

        And Maussa is hilarious.

For F%$#K sake it wasn't the weight. Hatton is a naturally large man who walks around at 180-190lbs. The reason Hatton had a problem in his last fight was that he went against a decent (not great mind you but solid) fighter who wasn't 35years old or older. There is no reason why Hatton couldn't go up 1 weight division and still compete at the elite level. Name the last real champion who was in a talent depleted division who didn't or in this case couldn't move up 1 division, other than Tzu?

Just because Hatton beat Tzu they say he is great well, I haven't seen it. He will look like crap against good WW's and he will look good against most opponents at the talent depleted jrWW its that simple.

Castillo goes against Hatton at 140lbs and Hatton will get handled a whopping. IMO fighting Urango is a step back, a step back into reality where Hatton knows he can't compete with the top tier fighters.

                      sorry but your wrong

at 140 hatton is one of the best combination punchers i have ever seen and with power at that weight

and castillo is a natural 135 pounder

i think hatton would stop castillo if they fought at 140
