Hatton-Urango: Is it a step back for Hatton?

Considering that Urango was apparently gifted against Ben Rabah. What does Hatton really gain in terms of reputation? It is the right move to take him down to 140, but is it the right thing to do in terms of reputation after the way the Collazo thing was handled?

it is a huge step back in my mind

but that is personal opinion because it makes me sick that juan urango is called a champion. he lost to ben rabah 117-110 on my card and for hatton to fight him under the false pretense of it being a title fight when urango is clearly nobody in the division is not acceptable considering he just got done pulling the same bull**** at 147 (albeit against a much better fighter)

fk yeah.......this is a HUGE step backwards!!..

simple as that!..no b/s excuses about first fight at welter, etc, etc...hell look at judah, mayweather, etc....they all did it and aren't chickening out at all...!!!

fighting judah might be a bad idea. he is like the best southpaw in the division. fighting mayweather is a good idea. coz we will see the best of hatton in that fight.

but mayweather just dont want non of hatton

Saying that Hatton could beat Mayweather is another story.

Why not go to WW and fight Williams?

Hatton is a slugger with no power if he went to bigger wieght. If Jr WW cant hold into his punchs but WW can. As well as Mayweather was never a puncher and he is in WW. He was never a puncher in first when he started.

I think it huge step back e****ally if he is going to fight him in England.

gotta look things for bigger and better.

as comparing SRL with PBF is thatt floyd started with 130 and SRL started with 140.

but the most impressive one is Duran and he is one of kind fighter started at 118 and went all up to 175 through his career and still has power to KO bigger men

It was the only fight available at 140 - and that is where Hatton belongs. Castillo and Corrales await, which would set up the Mayweather fight nicely. Or Castillo and the winner of Witter/Corley, then onto Mayweather.

Hatton is the only guy out there who could beat Mayweather at 140. That is still the fight I want to see..

I think so. Esp with the depletion of 140 as of late.

i dont think its the only fight for him at the moment, he could re-match collazo, fight at catchweight , if witter wins offer him a fight see if he'l fight him, vivian harris, ben rabah,

fact is he lost the opportunity to fight mayweather long time ago and i cant respect him for that

                  urango is a weak fight

I don't think Mayweather or Hatton want to fight each other. Its quite sad really as it would be a great fight.
