I don’t care about him fighting Yidilgrim but the fact remains that if reynoso is going to say ggg has been fighting lesser comp recently, then he clearly has to be referring to the recent mandatory, canelo is doing the same exact thing and again, dating back to 2017, there isn’t much of a difference in their resumes so if reynoso doesn’t want the ggg fight for canelo, then he should come up with a more accurate reason than something that makes him look hypocritical.
As far as canelo being a diva, dazn approved Andrade for sept of last year and canelo wasn’t interested. He wanted to wait out the old man Kovalev who we all know he wouldn’t have fought if he was the same Kovalev we all knew from prior years. And you comparing a 2 pound catch weight for a 23 yr old who fought at 154 3 years after the mayweather fight to to a 36 yr old fighting on 10 weeks break after being kod in back to back years with an added rehydration clause is absurd. Apples and oranges.
Canelo only wants to unify now because Benavidez isn’t there anymore and he feels it’s an easier route because all of the belt holders at 168 are white. He didn’t mention the wbc belt until Benavidez was no longer champion. He never spoke about wanting to unify at me where Andrade and charlo are. Now Take that for what it is but he sees white fighters as lesser risks than what it would’ve been to unify at mw. Particularly if they’re from the uk. I do however think plant gives him trouble.

Everyone on the forum knows Szeremeta was a 13 month 0mandatory” build up when GGG Promotions announced in November of 2019. The IBF didn’t mandate anything. In the contrary, the WBC mandated a Yildirim fight just recently. How many days ago was Smith? Lol.
The difference is that NSB fans know that Canelo said he wanted to fight 3 times in 2021 which included unifications.

szeremeta was his mandatory and mandated by the ibf. He was given time due to a little thing called a pandemic. You may not know this due your heavy coke sniffing binges but big named fighters didn’t really start fighting until a few months ago. The reason Yidilgrim was named so quickly is because in order to allow their favorite son canelo to fight for their title, the wbc had to come to an agreement with canelo and Yidilgrim that Yidilgrim would be mandated to fight the winner of canelo vs smith. If not, Yidilgrim would be able to sue them based on his wbc ranking. Ya clown.Comment
