Yeah just like any negotiation, both sides have a say and have to agree on things. Team Golovkin didn't just pick refs or judges -they obviously have to be approved, which isn't the same as "picked refs, gloves and judges." And you better believe any trainer would pull the plug on new gloves that ended up being that deformed the night before.

Not true. HAYMON and Charlo have been asking for it. Even B Hop, who handled Canelo talks about how Charlo is never in the conversation. He also acknowledged that Charlo would be a very tough fight for Canelo but doesn't see Canelo accepting fight no time soon.
