I’ve always been fond of Verdejo’s attitude. He’s such a stand up guy with a great attitude. He kind of reminds of Cotto. Hopefully he can bounce back from his loss and put on a better performance in the rematch.

I felt exactly the same after reading the article as long as he learns from this and gets better ill be rooting for him . Honestly even in defeat this was by far the strongest/sharpest he's ever looked . He was just to wild with his shots and went off balance almost every round that waste a ton of energy. Verdejo was envisioned to be the next Tito Trinidad. But with 17 KOs in 56 fights & 2 recent KO losses, he won't be able to hold Trinidad's shoe laces, let alone fill his shoes.
