They was making excuses for Floyd when it came to making a catchweight fight with GGG @ 154.

    But Floyd is better overall?
I wasn’t talking to you. I was talking to someone else.

Sugar Ray would beat Floyd and had the better resume.
Leonard beat Duran, Hearns and Hagler.

Ray Leonard is another level from Floyd for me, only fighter of recent times i would put at that level is a prime Roy Jones who like Leonard was the complete package as a fighter.

Duran already had over 70 fights when he fought Ray Leonard in Montreal in their first fight. In those fights, Duran lost once to Esteban DeJesus and then avenged that by beating Esteban the next two times they fought. Duran was a natural 135 pound fighter and of all the weight classes that is the only one where there isn’t an argument as to who is the all time best because that’s Roberto Duran; greatest lightweight of all time. Roberto should’ve had no business moving up. Didn’t have the size. The fact that he was so successful when he moved up is a testament as to how great of a fighter he was. Duran is the only guy to have ever beaten Ray Leonard in Ray prime. That fight was incredible. Ray was so much bigger and Ray was so skilled.

I don’t think Floyd makes it to 15 or even 12 against Ray. I think Ray stops him around the 8th round.

Ray hit too hard for Floyd and would’ve knocked Floyd out. That’s not an insult to Floyd just goes to show how great Ray was. Duran beats Floyd as well and beats up Manny too.

This is interesting in Floyd ranking his top five. Understandably he puts himself at number one, don’t agree with him but it’s understandable. I do agree with Floyd that Ali did lose all three fights to Norton.

I’m surprised that he doesn’t put Ray anywhere on that list and that’s probably because Ray beat up his family member but listen to Floyd talk about Roberto. Uncle Roger, Rest In Peace, used to speak in reverence of Duran as well-

most fighters are far from boxing historians. When fighters are azzked for rankings they’ll list their favorite boxers

Floyd snubbed Ray Leonard because he sees him as a rival lol

Every ATG WW would have to work harder than they ever have to eek out a decision.
If Castillo gave him problems, what would Duran have done? Duran would have put him away that night. I don't think anyone doubts that.

Floyd went razor thin with a past prime Oscar. What do you think a Prime SRL would have done?

Floyd almost had his world ruined by a very past prime Shane Mosley. What would Floyd have done with Prime SRL in front of him that night?

Floyd had a difficult fight with Cotto, What would SRL or Roberto Duran have done to him that night?

People act like Floyd never had an off night, and that all of his performances were dazzling. They weren't. Every time he stepped in with someone that would have been a legitimate challenge to him when they were relevant, he had some difficulty.

Now we are talking about him vs someone who was better than all of those guys.

A 135lb Mosley would have been more than Floyd could handle. Floyd has had problems with everyone with exceptional hand speed he has been in with. 4 round Zab Judah gave him all he could handle for 4 rounds, knocking him down in the process. Mosley hand speed even got to Floyd when he was well past it. 135lb Mosley is up there in contention for fastest hands of all time, along with Meldrick Taylor and Hector Camacho.

Floyd was smart enough to only take fights when they were winnable for him.

I'm not sure there's any techniques Floyd doesn't know.

Floyd is superior defensively while Leonard is a killer on the offense but overall, Leonard is more well rounded.

Leonard’s resume shts on Floyd’s and H2H, Leonard would beat his ass.

We cant ignore Leonard’s size advantage too. He is clearly the naturally bigger man.
