Hes never fought an elite heavyweight like wilder and fury have (each other) and is getting respect for knocking out has beens and old men just because they were top 10. Pulev to be honest had one of the most basic styles i have ever seen jab jab right hand jab jab left hook and still managed to survive aj when he was knocked down twice. His uppercut isnt all that either im pretty sure i saw pulev eat 4 uppercuts in a row at one point without budging. Canelo has a better uppercut as does inoue forget about since tyson lol

You could make the same argument about Wilder and Fury's opposition then. Who else is there to beat besides the top 10? Fury and Wilder have been tied up with each other as you mentioned so Joshua has beaten the best of the rest. What else is he supposed to do?

Remember, Lennox got clean wrecked by 2 B-rated fighters in McCall and Rahman and came back to avenge the losses and go down as the best heavy since Ali.

AJ has fight changing power in his right hand and great jab. Also he has the sickest uppercuts ive seen since Mike Tyson. He's strong as **** too, so Fury won't be able to bully him on the inside or drain him by putting his weight on him like he has done to lesser fighters before.

I still think Fury is a favourite but it's like a 70/30 or a 65/35 kind of fight. Fury has been down before, he can be gotten to. The thing is that he has like 4 different ways to win, so he's a deserved favourite, but counting Joshua out entirely is really ****** imo.

The Ruiz win is underrated in my opinion. Stopped 6 months earlier, he completely changed his style and boxed to a very wide decision doing all of the things people said he couldn't do. Regardless of Ruiz' contribution to that fight, Joshua's response was perfect. He couldn't have been more focused and determined.

I thought the Pulev win was a good performance. He showed a lot more again. Including the knockout power that was a feature pre-Ruiz. I'm not sure what looking better would look like in that fight.

The second fight he knocked a man down four times, won every round again and got a knockout of the year contender - against a man who had only lost one previous fight.
