Anthony Joshua has become very, very underrated recently.

Remember, Lennox got clean wrecked by 2 B-rated fighters in McCall and Rahman and came back to avenge the losses and go down as the best heavy since Ali.

AJ has fight changing power in his right hand and great jab. Also he has the sickest uppercuts ive seen since Mike Tyson. He's strong as **** too, so Fury won't be able to bully him on the inside or drain him by putting his weight on him like he has done to lesser fighters before.

I still think Fury is a favourite but it's like a 70/30 or a 65/35 kind of fight. Fury has been down before, he can be gotten to. The thing is that he has like 4 different ways to win, so he's a deserved favourite, but counting Joshua out entirely is really ****** imo.

Can't wait for this fight and may the best man win.

Look at Joshua's recent record. It's really good. He took on all the guys that he was supposed to, great level of competition. Look at Wilder's resume and compare to AJs. it's like chalk and cheese. It's easy to make the argument that AJ's record is better quality than even Furys. You dont run through guys of the caliber that AJ has without being a great fighter.

He isnt underated. Hes grossly overated tbh. Hes never fought an elite heavyweight like wilder and fury have (each other) and is getting respect for knocking out has beens and old men just because they were top 10. Pulev to be honest had one of the most basic styles i have ever seen jab jab right hand jab jab left hook and still managed to survive aj when he was knocked down twice. His uppercut isnt all that either im pretty sure i saw pulev eat 4 uppercuts in a row at one point without budging. Canelo has a better uppercut as does inoue forget about since tyson lol

It's honestly kind of crazy but yeah he really has.

He went from being overrated to now after the Ruiz fight being very underrated.

If you listened to people online he can't box, can't fight, no chin, no heart, overrated power etc.

It's a whole lot of hyperbolic nonsense, he does have his flaws and weaknesses absoloutley and personally I think he's still slightly shook off the Ruiz loss but he's still dangerous for anyone and a deserved favourite v anyone not named fury.

I do think Fury beats him though, especially currently, Wlad and Lewis needed major rebuilds to get past bad losses, AJ has no time for that, and Fury at the moment is imperious

If AJ does lose to fury though I hope he will not retire as he can come again

I don't think Fury will hang with AJ on the inside, it would be a mistake as those uppercuts are money. I'd love to see them both have a win over each other and it's all decided in the 3rd fight. That would elevate this HW era when you've got two Great champions squaring off, with a good supporting cast in Wilder, Ruiz, Pov., Whyte, Parker, Usyk, Hunter etc..

Despite having a deep resume AJ hasn't got the legacy defining win his record needs, right now his FotY against Wlad is his highlight. At this point a win over Wilder would be excellent for AJ's resume as it would determine who the second best HW of the era is. But Fury beat Wlad to become champion and then outboxed Wilder before destroying him. AJ is very good, but in order to be Great he'd have to get a win over Fury otherwise he's the bridesmaid of this era.

I still think Joshua will beat fury. Fury is massively overrated at the same time based on three fights - of which he won two and drew the other. He could easily have come out of that with one win out of the three. The wilder draw he was literally fractions of a second from losing and against Klitschko he could easily have lost on points - it was barely convincing despite people seemingly to think his performance got better and better overtime.

if boxing forced the matchups when they should happen (joshua wilder) this under over rated debate should no longer exist

                  It’s a 50-50 fight.

                  Personally I lean Joshua.

Yeah Pulev is basic he's a big stiff dummy but guys like Hughie and Chisora who are just outside the top group both got their asses handed to them by the stiff idiot so he's obviously not totally useless is he, plus he's a mandatory so it is what it is

We will find out what happens when Fury and AJ fight but considering AJ is miles above Pulev who is miles above Chisora I think on form it's a competitive fight with Fury
