the fight should've been 7-5 lopez, 6-6 draw, or 7-5 for the big loma riders, but common denominator is, a close fight, not no 11-1.

Lomachenko is lucky it wasn’t 120-108 across the board instead. Lopez outlanded Lomachenko in power punches in 12 of 12 rounds. And outlanded him in total punches in 8 of 12 rounds, with the 8th round being a tie.

What I think happened with the judges that had 9-3 and 11-1 was that they probably weren’t rewarding Lomachenko for doing relatively well as opposed to the rounds where he did nothing. Many times, judges and fans give a fighter a round based on him doing “better” than he has been doing all fight. I imagine, without looking at the scorecards, that the 1 round that was given to him in the 11-1 scorecard is the round where he really let his hands go and caught Lopez with some good combinations in the round.

Personally I gave Lomachenko 4 rounds. But I can see how someone refuses to fall for the “he did better this time so I will gift him a round for effort” way of scoring.

Hope this hasn’t caused offence, as that really wasn’t the aim. These issues can never be fixed if they aren’t discussed. Just because somebody disagrees with you, doesn’t mean they’re “Triggered”. That’s a very Millenial thing to say, I’m presuming you’re pretty young? That’s okay, you’ve got a lot of learning to do, I was naive when I was younger.

Best advice I could give you is, go research the stats, go check out who’s champion of which division?,how many are black?, how many black fighters are in each governing bodies rankings? Once you do that, I think you’ll find that you’re claims are not substantiated whatsoever. If you’ve read til this point, you’ve done extremely well!!!
