Cotto is a solid boxer and had a great career.
If Gatti could get into the hall of fame with his not so great career, how in the world Cotto got snubbed?

To wit, Buddy McGirt got in last year, Michael Spinks got in 2018 - is McGirt’s career better than Cotto?
I'm actually shocked that Miguel Cotto didn't get in and I wonder how close he was to the 80% threshold for getting voted in.

      Next year James.
Toney has 0% chance considering who was on the Ballot.

The fact that both Bee-itchkos got in as 1st ballot HoF inductees and James Toney didn't is a disgrace.

Also, Ward does not deserve to be there before James Toney.

        Hall of Shame!!!

Cotto and Toney will make it. Just don’t think they had any chance ahead of Floyd, ward and wlad, which is reasonable.

Reducing the retirement threshold from 5 to 3 years means it's a lot tougher for guys who have been on the ballot for ages, to get inducted now.

Cotto will get in definitely at some point, probably next year but to be a first ballot now is a tough race
Hamed is already in the Hall of Fame

Guess so since he didn’t make it. I thought he might grab enough votes. Oh well. I’m glad he doesn’t go in w Floyd that way I don’t have to pay crazy money to go to the induction. Looking forward to next year.
