Canelo is the most overrated boxer ever

It is very rare to see one guy being hyped so much based on two very close fights with old version of top rival. He also needed 2 robberies to get unbeaten from these fights.

Canelo fanatics keep hyping Canelo like he stopped GGG twice or something. Like we all here are ****** and haven`t seen the fights.

The rating also started to soar after the GGG robberies and the Kovalev fight, which I think was a paid-for win. Kovalev wobbled Canelo with jabs and sat there waiting to be picked off instead of following up with hard shots like he normally does, each and every time. He clearly threw that fight and we haven't heard a peep from him since then.

There are more reasons to hype Lopez than Canelo. Lopez schooling Lomachenko is better than anything Canelo ever did.

I thought he went 1-1 vs GGG. He's a very good fighter, I don't think he's overhyped at all

P4P#1 when arguably coming off a loss or two to GGG? I think that's being overrated.

I thought GGG won both fights.I thought he won 8 rounds to 4 the first fight and won 7 rounds to 6 ln the 2nd fight. Canelo gets the generous scoring in Vegas. In the 2nd fight Canelo was 27 years old and GGG was 36 years old. That is a big youth advantage for Canelo. I think Canelo is a great fighter now but I think GGG was a better fighter just not as popular. The prime GGG KOed 22 top 10 contenders or champions in a row. Nobody else fighting today can match that.

Golovkin will never be better than Canelo. Maybe in another universe where if he AT LEAST stepped in the ring with Andre Ward.

Many forum users on this forum are great. I know many of them have turned around and saw the unjustified hate Canelo got, but the reality is, boxing is basic. You rate fights as they go. It’s not the NBA or MLB. Boxing is limited. Most Canelo haters saw what he did with Jacobs, GGg, Kovalev. They are entertained. GGG said 154-168 was easy.. I mean cmon..
