Hearn disclosed there wasn’t a weight clause for SmithZ. But if it means anything, Smith is too big for 168. That drain might be able to benefit him against guys not as good as Canelo. That’s how boxing works. Blame Smith for DARING to drain at 168 against Canelo. That’s the reality

        What what?

Can you pls detail your claim?

What makes Canelo resume the best?

He's a proven drug cheat and not as if ppl don't know he is still juicing and doing last minute fights.

How would you judge that being that you weren't around for the overwhelming majority of the history of boxing to gauge the hype associated with boxers from different eras?

Actually looking forward to Saturday. Would be good to see Canelo back, and I also like Callum.

I don't recall him claiming otherwise than what he just posted.

Even without the GGG fights Canelo is an all timer. He’s taken fights his own team didn’t want him to take.
GGG’s whole legacy was based on the Canelo fights and he couldn’t get the job done. His groupies said Canelo wouldn’t last 5 rounds with him but their man just wasn’t up to the task.
Now his remaining fans lash out at the man that forever holds his MW titles, legacy, and his 0. Get over it.

I don’t think he’s overrated as such, he really is an excellent fighter

I just don’t think he beat GGG, most don’t. At best they’re 1-1.

He’s not a better fighter then GGG was. That’s for sure. Ducked him for 2 years, vacated belts, left the division etc.. and still had to get a gift just to get a draw against a mid 30’s GGG when they finally fought.

I still think Canelo is one of the best fighters around though. Just the best GGG is better than the best Canelo that we have seen so far.

Maybe Canelo himself didn’t want the clause too.

Let’s not forget Canelo fought at 175 last time out. Going back down a division is never easy, even if you’re not big at the weight.

So maybe Canelo himself didn’t want to stifle his own rehydration.
