Nobody else fighting today can match that.

On one hand - I think Canelo's only real flaw as a boxer, is his lack of stamina/workrate, and maybe lack of elite foot speed. But he has great reflexes, quickness, combo punching, power, defense, chin. He has no real big holes. His talent is legit.
However - on the other hand - there are questions about how legitimate his talent is, as far as the PEDs go. A lot of guys are probably doping, I imagine. You do just feel like Canelo has access to better stuff, or different rules by which he has to abide by.
And then you have the judging in some of his fights. The Trout open scoring, the Lara fight was close, GGG fights, Jacobs was competitive, Kovalev scoring before the KO. You just feel like Canelo has a very low bar to clear as far as getting a round in a fight.
That also makes it easier for him to take certain fights. When you know you don't have to excel to win rounds, it makes it easy to take on certain fights. You know a 7-5 loss will be a 7-5 or 8-4 win for you. It frees you up in the ring, and out of the ring, as far as what matchups you can make.
And then there is some of the weight stuff. He had his own weight class for some odd reason. He has put some odd clauses on opponents too.
I think his talent is legit. But I think he has had a lot of 'help' to get to the status he is currently at. To be fair, most big stars end up getting that help for whatever reason. Stars get the cards, and make the rules. Always been that way.

That's a wrap. I have it 115-112 Jacobs and I can't see an argument for Golovkin winning. Unbelievable. GGG's KO streak is over. #GGGJacobs

Eyeonthering is a website that collects fan scorecards. It's a great resource and the average scorecard has GGG winning, but it's far from as "clear" as you suggest.
CBS Brian Campbell somehow had a draw...must've learned to score fights from you:
https://www.cbssports.com/boxing/new...mous-decision/
Boxingscene scored the fight 6-6 with the KD being the difference. Although you suggest the first 9 rounds were "easy to score" Boxingscene saw 3 of those rounds differently (1, 3, 7) than you as well as rounds 11 and 12. I guess you know more than Boxingscene now, huh?

In other words, you don't know shit about boxing.

In the rematch Borat had like 50 demands:
Demanded to choose judges
Demanded to choose ref
Demanded to choose Canelo's gloves
Demanded to choose PPV split
Demanded to choose how long Canelo's beard could be
Demand that Abel be allowed to wrap Canelo's hands because Abel said Canelo was using too much tissue paper
Demanded to choose how loud Canelo could be in the lockerroom
After the rematch ended - and Borat rightfully lost - he then Demanded a 3rd fight be held in NYC...
This is all literally real stuff. It actually sounds like a soap opera but that's just GGG's life.

The GLOVEGATE LMFAO
Now, Golovkin's trainer Abel Sanchez has opened up to ESPN Deportes about their objections, saying: "If you notice, they are gloves that have never been used in a championship fight.
"Not just in a championship fight, but they have never been used in four, six, eight and ten rounds."
The Nevada Athletic Commission have given the gloves the green light for the clash in Las Vegas on September 13.
But Sanchez is worried about the lack of testing, adding: "We did not feel that it was fair to use them because they have not been tested, we do not know if they are going to break.
“Can you imagine if they break in the third round and Canelo gets the advantage to recover or take a break.
"They're just gloves that have not been used. We have no problem with other brands, we just want them to fight with gloves that are tested, so we are ensured that they will not be damaged.
"Gloves are very important in a fight and it does not have anything to do with the fact that they are Mexican [gloves]."
The WRAPGATE LMFAO
GGG’s trainer Abel Sanchez says Canelo used an illegal ‘stacking’ technique of having his hands wrapped. As it turns out, the stacking technique is legal in Nevada. Sanchez says he won’t use the same technique for Golovkin though, because he doesn’t want him to get used to this style and then feel uncomfortable when he’s fighting in a state where it’s illegal to use those types of wraps
The BEARDGATE LMFAO
Golovkin’s longtime trainer, Abel Sanchez, explained to ******.com after Friday’s weigh-in that he’s concerned about Canelo’s beard. Not because it could soften Golovkin’s blows, but because it could prick GGG’s face when the fighters are in close.
“It’s a little bit longer than it should be,” Sanchez told ******.com on Friday. “It’s very rough on an opponent. I left it up to the commission. I voiced my displeasure.”
Bob Bennett, executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, could have determined that Canelo’s beard exceeded the quarter-inch allowed under the rules and thus forced the boxer to shave before Saturday’s fight. However, it doesn’t appear that Canelo will need to break out a razor despite the displeasure from GGG’s camp.
“I’ve never had somebody with a beard in a fight, at least not to that length,” Sanchez told ******.com. “One- or two-day stubble, everybody does that. They’re concentrating on boxing and maybe don’t shave for a couple days, but (Canelo’s beard), that’s not a couple days.
“It could rough his face up, they’ll be fighting on the inside. There’s no reason for it to be there.”
The NOISEGATE LMFAO
Alvarez also said that Golovkin had a problem with the loud noises coming out of Alvarez’s locker room and requested to be moved to a different room.

That is how you determine what happened. Identify sources and draw conclusions from them. Borat is among the biggest prima donnas in the last 10-20 years.
Delusional fans, **********s coincidentally (not a coincidence, almost all repubs are delusional), stake their Borat love in that Canelo ducked him in 2015. Never happened. GGG wouldn't take the fight because he refused a CW against Canelo because it wouldn't benefit himself.
GGG was okay with CWs when it benefited him:
Offered Rosado CW of 158
https://www.boxingscene.com/gennady-...-weight--60829
Offered Ward CW 164
http://thaboxingvoice.com/ward-rejec...olovkin-fight/
*******Remember, GGG and his team offered Froch and JCC Jr. a fight at full 168 but Ward had to meet at a CW despite all fighters campaigning at 168....AGAIN...CW only a problem when it doesn't BENEFIT BORAT****
Fought Rolls CW of 164

So how does that make Borat ATG MW??
Originally posted by Boxing-1013 View PostI think the rest of his resume was solid enough. Most fighters, even greats, have slip ups when you have 10-15 fights against solid pro fighters. GGG never had any against the other guys, all dominant wins. That is impressive to me. Compare it to anyone you want, most guys all-time can't say that.
In an era with like 8 champions per weight class Borat has fought, what, 7 former/current/future champions and 1 of those 7 was a WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION. And even in that fight GGG refused to surrender 1 pound and required Brook to move up 13 pounds...yeah, ATG MW lmfao

That doesn't match-up too well against Hagler, Hearns, SRL, Greb, SRR, Ketchell, etc. BHop sparks this guy too although it goes the distance.

Again, what is fan fiction? Are we writing novels here, buddy? Here are those links I was talking about. There are so many of you clowns I lose track of which one I'm correcting and apparently the links were to a different clown:

Not stopping Danny, Sergei, or Canelo? The dude arguably lost 3 of those fights and drew in the 1st Canelo fight. Even if you, or any fan, had GGG going 4-0 against that lineup...NONE of those guys are ATG MW...and GGG went life and death with all of them.
So how does that make Borat ATG MW??
The only other people that think Borat's resume is "solid enough" are fellow **********s/Borat dickboys. His resume is horrific.
That's possible but I don't see him beating many, if any, noteworthy ATG MWs. And he gets broken and stopped versus MANY of them if Lil Sergei pushes him to the brink, limited Danny has him in draw territory, limited Canelo with horrific stamina arguably draws ad beats him in rematch.
That doesn't match-up too well against Hagler, Hearns, SRL, Greb, SRR, Ketchell, etc. BHop sparks this guy too although it goes the distance.
As for the Bloody Elbow card - they are an MMA site. Who knows who was scoring that fight. Same for BScene really - I've seen the scorer be really good for them, and then also really bad.
GGG outlanded Danny by 56 punches man. 9-2-1 in terms of rounds, as far as GGG outlanding him. Those are compubox numbers, but if I added it all up, it would more or less equal what I saw in that fight.
Danny overperformed, no one thought his chin would hold up. GGG underperformed because he couldn't get the KO. It wasn't a close fight on the cards however.
If getting outlanded by 56 punches, and in 9 of 11 rounds, is the bar to clear for getting a W for some people, what a sad and low bar that is. It's not like Danny is Muhammad Ali. You don't have to overhype his performance to take a shot at GGG, if that's what you really want to do.
