This is in the rules. Yildirim is on board because hes either going to get a huge payday or still going to fight for the belt next as he would've done anyways. The diamond belt entitles Smith to fight for this belt & the franchise title as well as being higher ranked automatically to Yildirim entitles Canelo to fight for it. There is nothing about this that is wrong,& you as among the Loma fans who had no problem with the wbc breaking their own rules to gift him the belt shouldn't have a problem.

Explain to me why this isn't exactly as the WBC rules say is supposed to happen. Both Canelo & Smith are WBC beltholders who are rated above the rest on wbc rankings by all of boxing,& the next ranked fighter is on board,ergo this is exactly whats supposed to happen.(Smith is rightfully the wbc beltholder more than anyone atm) the wbc rules state in this instance this fight is supposed to be for the title in this situation.

You guys dont want Sulaimán to be driving around in old rides do you? He got to court these boxers and they have the freshest rides, he needs to upgrade. Not many fights this year with covid and Sulaimán is in the poor house. This is like the top grossing fight this year so they their cut.

Hopefully they put together a belt for Logan-May, they could take a percentage of that fight. Sulaimán is accustomed to a certain lifestyle and I dont want to see him suffering

Sulaifatass gave belts to youtubers & created a geriatric belts(plural)to give to geriatric legends,& hes going to give a belt to Floyd again for fighting a bum on ppv,those are ceremonial belts but they still show the greed & hunger for clout of Sulaifatass. I have no doubt Canelo Didn't care about this being for WBC(hes likely going to vacate it anyways to fight the champs like usual),as usual Sulaifatass just wanted his fees,but I still don't disagree with this lineal fight being for Cokevidez belt he squandered.

Usually its Sulaifatass who creates belts on his own accord even when Canelo threw it in the trash vs chavez jr,& even when Loma got his franchise

I think that this is a legitimate argument,but Smith will surely not dump it if he wins,& considering that Smith is the deserving WBC champ who is entitled to fight for this belt I see why its being done.(I am positive Canelo didn't have anything to do with it because even vs Cotto he said he didn't want it,but Cotto put it up anyways because he was going to vacate anyways win or lose)
