That hater alternate timeline just doesn't add up. As I said, Andrade was making his first defense against a gatekeeper when Canelo was busy fighting Lara, then Andrade would spend 16 months inactive and lose his title over the legal fallout from his decision to pull out with Jermell. By the time he returned, Canelo was busy fighting Cotto for the middleweight title. Canelo would later circle back and fight Liam when he was making his third defense, not suddenly when the title was first available. There are all facts I'm stating-- only in an alternate hater reality is Andrade supposed to be the priority through all this.
At any rate, Canelo would later say he found Andrade boring but also pointed out his weak resume then moved up to challenge Kolalev who brings much more of a legacy to the table and was entering the fight with physical advantages over Canelo. Even to this day Andrade has yet to face a world champ or former champ while fighters he turned down like Jermell ended up accomplishing much bigger things than he has. In the irony of all irony, Andrade at one point turned down a fight with Lara because he claimed he found the Cuban boring-- never mind that Lara was the only one of the two who brought a resume to the table.
