No, we shouldn't. But my point is that Mayweather taking advantage of the current landscape is not the problem.

The problem is there are so few big fights and transcendent names that this is appealing to the casual audience. There is clearly a desire for boxing but every fighter wants to carefully manage their career and avoid super fights.

If people will pay to watch it, more power to them. I’ll watch it...not sure why it’s so offensive to some. Boxing is killing boxing, you want to be angry, be angry at the promoters and fighters who refuse to make the changes necessary to make boxing something greater than it is. If they won’t give the fans what they want, it creates a void that events like this or the Tyson thing will fill. Don’t cry for the Charlo’s, Spence, Crawford, Canelo, GGG, AJ, Fury, Wilder, etc. They have ample opportunity, this is on them.
