It kind of make sense and you could see this a mile away with Tyson's exhibition. His money is probably running low. 50 cents been right all along that Floyd cannot afford not to fight. He has to, really sad considering how much money this guy has banked. Good thing for him is he can fight exhibitions into his 50s as Tyson and Jones just did and keep his cash flow going. You just feel bad for the true fighters and boxer who are constantly getting sh.i.tted on with these farce fights. Maybe now these young guys would understand why they need to start making the great fights fighting each other instead of sitting on the sidelines waiting for low risk big pay day fights. A void was created to even allow Tyson/Jones to happen and now these exhibitions about to take on a life of its own

It's an interesting pricing strategic. I think more PPV's should start low for early buyers & raise the price as it gets closer to fight time. Would give them more viewers & likely more money.
