Honest question hope you'll elaborate, how is this good for boxing? I ask because I hear that a lot & disagree completely,I think that until Floyd retires & these sideshows stop happening it becomes that much harder for new stars to become the next FMJ & it makes it more difficult to sell ppvs(partly because these fights stink & casuals might get tighter with funds the next ppv,it happened with Floyd v pac & that was THE fight, but it didn't deliver.)

Why doesn't that guy just go pro and stop messing around?
He has a following. They are going to watch. He can be another Ryan Garcia basically.Comment

If people will pay to watch it, more power to them. I’ll watch it...not sure why it’s so offensive to some. Boxing is killing boxing, you want to be angry, be angry at the promoters and fighters who refuse to make the changes necessary to make boxing something greater than it is. If they won’t give the fans what they want, it creates a void that events like this or the Tyson thing will fill. Don’t cry for the Charlo’s, Spence, Crawford, Canelo, GGG, AJ, Fury, Wilder, etc. They have ample opportunity, this is on them.Comment

Promoters are going to be forced to step up in terms of the competition they stage.their events are getting outsold by non boxers.. this is great for the sport. Promoters are getting phased out of our beloved sportComment

But as a sportsman his legacy is diminished by these fights in my opinion.
That's the trade off. He seems happy enough to make that trade.Comment

I feel like Floyd is going beyond greed with this fight. Its like a slap in the face to his fanbase, like hes saying "you chumps will buy anything, even me playing patty cake with a bum til I ko him."Comment
