Comments Thread For: Foreman: If Mike Tyson Has 3 More Exhibitions Like That - I'd Back Him Over Any Contender

You answered your own question. Boxing is 90% mental and his mind is in a completely different realm now. I can relate given my age too. His mind is in the place we call f u c k all. It’s the absolute best place in the world to be. You’re mistaken if you don’t think he can’t beat down the tubs of lard and fat that sit in the HW division today. Him getting back into great shape is easy as hell and his mind is already in the right place. He could not beat Williams and McBride 15 years ago in his very late 30s, got stopped.
I know he's in a better place mentally now but I don't think he would do better as a 50s senior citizen weed smoker than he did in his last "true fights".
So not even talking about Helenius let alone Wilder, I don't think he can beat "friday nights" level fighting HW.
Mike doesn't have it anymore, as you pointed, he just fought an EXHIBITION against a career supermiddleweight/lightheavy.Comment

Everyone inc. Tyson knows his prime was around 25 years ago and only a prime Tyson would be able to maybe and a big 'maybe' compete with these massive heavyweights of today who nearly dwarf him by a foot in height and around three stone in weight.Everyone inc. Danny Williams knows how to beat Tyson now ....hit him back. Tyson has never got up from a knock down to win a fight!Jones never hit Tyson back as he was too old and small but talk by Foreman of anything outside of this is dangerous and crazy .Mike Tyson is completely finished and should hang them up after leaving a better memory than be KO'd by a club fighter.Comment

I have a feeling Forman is just an attention seeker. Every time something major happens in boxing, this guy pops out.Comment
