He doesn’t need attention. He’s one of the all time great heavyweights. He’s a multimillionaire many times over through endorsements. You’re also talking about a man that dropped off the face of the earth for a decade when he left boxing only to reappear and win a title at 45. How the hell does he need attention?

I think what most people get out of this is a 51 yr old man has better movement and skills than more or less the entire heavy division.
He was drilled to within exactly one inch of his life as a teen and it still shows.
He would get destroyed by any of the new guys right now, but only by youth alone.Comment

The bold area screams for people to consider there are anomalies in the world. No not everybody is gonna make that kind of comeback but will and discipline can go a long way really. As far as the comments at the top about the top 10 or 20 guys I agree with it. I would put Tyson in with a Breazele type of guy right not and drop money on him. Hell at 54 Tyson has better speed and movement than most active heavyweights.Have you seen the top 10 and top 20? They are mostly giant flabs of fat. Gigantic tubs of s h I t and goo. Yes Tyson had what you said he had. However what you failed to mention is that he also had tremendous one punch KO power.
It’s extremely easy for him to get back into condition. Hell he’s over half way there. Age has little to do with it. There 60 year old still competing in triathlons. People scoff at things foreign to them. That’s why they dismiss someone that’s aged as if meh no. Throughout his career he didn’t take all that much punishment.
I’ll be the first to say given the state of the HW division and the pigs that sit within it (minus a few) he’d wollop the fat tires a lot carry within the top 20Comment

This is moronic. Just because you are a great fighter doesn't mean dumb stuffs doesn't come out of your mouth. Can Tyson still hit? Of course, RJJ definitely felt that power last week, even though they didn't go full blast you can see RJJ felt it. But a young opponent in their mid 30s would be a lot more durable and just expand him.Comment

As I stated way back Mike would pass a medical before Ortiz would and spark him out given enough time . I’m not sure this forum knows how to read in fact I’m convinced now .
Foreman said he favors Mike in 2 minute rounds or under and he’s probably right against some top guys but would Mike give up the pot ? Probably not ,if he quits that junk over a true run at a title he’d be more aggressive as well . I remember he took meds in the past to calm him down and he became a lesser fighter . Mike could easily continue to sharpen up and improve,he’s been out of real competition 15 years I don’t think people get it ,he needs a little time and he hasn’t got hit in the time away so ?
You guys make it sound he’s been boxing all this time ? That’s how Foreman actually got to come back he left the sport for a decade . There’s a huge difference between Mike ,just look at how terrible Razor Ruddock looked coming back, this isn’t Razor .Last edited by REDEEMER; 12-04-2020, 07:34 AM.Comment

Didn't Big George offer to train Wilder? I hope, at the minimum, Wilder went to visit the man, or flew him into camp! Anything less would be pure arrogance!Comment
