Dubois is still future world champ

Yes he is. Kid is young, he will learn from that loss and come back stronger.

Just look at his future opposition. Hrgovic is 28, fought nobody, untested. East Euros are fighting club fighters only. Ajagba was dropped by Kiladze, looked bad in last 2 fights. Yoka looked terrible against Hammer. He is 28 already. Conto is untested and 24 already. Sanchez is 28, fighting nobodies.

Don`t make me laugh like Dubois is not good enough to win the title against those guys in the future.

Who looks good against Hammer though? Just Fury on PEDs and prime Wach.

But yeah hard to count out a damn kid. As long as his face holds up he can have a good future.

I'm not counting him out, but you're basically saying he'll win a belt because everyone else under 30 sucks?

Probably, people put too much weight on a loss. Especially when its this soon in his career. There are a lot of all time greats who lost early on. Im not saying he will be an atg just that the loss doesnt mean much at this point.

Could well do. Spend the next 3 years in gym working on his craft. Fight 6-7 times against a variety of boxers where he’ll have to use different aspects of his game.

          When he’s 26 go again

I won't see it's a definite, but I'd throw money on him lifting a title off someone sooner or later. Time is on his side. Hopefully he takes this L as a learning experience & improves the things he can from now til his next big fight which probably should be a couple years away from now.

The issue I foresee is how does Warren keep his promotion moving with DDD working on his own trajectory while Warren is needed big fights.

He probably will be. Hes still likely 4-5 years off his prime, and Joyce can shrug off the kind of shots that would really rattle most people.

I don’t hold anything against him for taking a knee and protecting his eyesight at 23 and at the start of his career.

The worrying part is that he couldn’t avoid or adapt even slightly to that jab. Joyce hardly threw (let alone landed) anything else!

Of course, no offence but its easy to win a world title in this era, Fury and Joshua are in their 30s. So for me he has a better chance than normal.

He is 23 and that is old enough to show his potential to be a future champion if he has the potential.I don't think he has the potential to be a future heavyweight champion. He is too slow and clumsy and does not throw enough punches a round. He is easy to hit. The foundation to be a future world champion is not there. He has never defeated any boxer rated in boxrec top 30 or any boxer even close to a top 10 contender.
