Eh. Idk that Fury sitting on the sidelines does him any good. Keep busy fight in January vs some random mfer & AJ should be ready to fight again in the first half of 2021 I'd assume. Obviously thats with Wilder not winning any arbitration for a trilogy fight & neither guy losing to Pulev or whoever Fury fights. Definitely not a good idea for Fury to not fight for anything 6 or so months til AJ fights again. Fury is still young & should stay as active as possible with all the coronavirus bs going on.

So its your assertion that AJ and Fury hasn't struggled with nobodies?Sorry I think I included the purse he was offered to fight Brezeale as part of the deal, but the point still remains he chose to get beaten up by Fury for less money, his resume is absolute trash and he has routinely lost rounds and struggled against fighters that have been bombed out by other journeymen and gatekeepers.Comment

They are better off making that fight when COVID restrictions are lifted. That fight deserves the largest live audience they can manage.Comment

That’s correct - neither AJ or Fury have struggled against nobodies like the ones Wilder has faced. I struggle to recall a round AJ lost prior to facing Klitschko, and since reaching championship level his competition has been levels above those fighters I named. One could point out Otto Wallin for Fury, but he’s still an unknown quantity.

Eddie is good at talking when he knows there is no fight on. Fury has to honor his 3rd fight contract and Joshua is fighting Pulev (and possibly Usyk after that). So, saying what Fury should do is not his business and totally irrelevant here.Comment

Time for the Saudi’s to come in and break the bank to make this happen.
No more step aside money for Wilder needed.
They could guarantee Fury and AJ $100 million each to get it done.
They don’t care about the live gate or PPV money.
They would throw that Saudi blood money around to get a heavyweight unification fight in their country.Comment

Did AJ not get knocked out by a nobody? I mean let's be fair and stop being biased. AJ fans made Ruiz a "somebody" because they can't cope with the fact that he got knocked out by someone who was given no chance to defeat AJ. And trying to say Wallin doesn't count for Fury because he's an "unknown quantity" is another one of those have it both ways statements. So the answer is yes all three have struggled with lesser competition, competition they were supposed to beat easily. And if we are actually trying to be objective, all of you say Wilder is not a good boxer, by that standard, Wilder struggling with an opponent is far less consequential than both Fury and AJ. Every single boxer in history has struggled with a lesser opponent. The fact you think neither AJ nor Fury has says more about you than anything else. That’s correct - neither AJ or Fury have struggled against nobodies like the ones Wilder has faced.
