Good win for Brook but that was really his only notable win at the top. He lost every big fight he was in since. His resume is overrated AF.
You mean he got bludgeoned after going up to fight the most brutal puncher in the sport & pound for pound king on most lists in Golovkin, lost to a guy who's a consensus P4P top guy in Spence, and a loss to the current almost consensus pound for pound king in Terence Crawford?

Oh yeah, losing to 2 P4P #1 fighters and Errol Spence, who's as high as #3 on lists is sooooo shameful.

And nobody's saying Porter's an ATG, but he did beat Garcia, gave Thurman & Spence all he could handle. Those last 2 guys have been on P4P top 10 lists.

And he acquitted himself well in all of those fights.

I didn’t realize we were giving out participation trophies. Carry on.

Brook took that fight knowing exactly what he was doing and wanting that big payday.
No criticism here for him doing that, he's a prizefighter, but let's not dress it up to be anything other than what it was either

The Golovkin fight was completely unnecessary 'Bad piece of promoting from Eddie Hearn'.

Is daring to be great really worth it these days in boxing? can any fighter really become great?

Sometimes it is best to hold station, and wait for big fights to materialize.

Brook would of faced Spence Junior in better condition if he was just held back etc

Completely agree. It’s a short career so make as much as you can as fast as you can.

But Brook’s career was never about greatness, he was only ever willing to take any form of risk for a massive payday. Even Warren and Hearn would agree on that and they don’t agree on much.

Yes, and that's what the Crawford fight was about not "greatness".

I think there's a good chance him and Khon will try to milk one last payday with each other too!

Kell isn't a casualty of daring to be great. He's a beneficiary of trying to get paid.

When a guy jumps up multiple weights fighting a prime top fighter is smells like a cash out or just plain ******.

Always get used to the weight first or take a tune up.

Floyd and Pac used catch weights when they moved up.

Very rare a fighter have success doing what Brook did
