Do you think Spence will be 100% after his wreck? I really wanted to see that fight before. But now am happy Spence will at least have 1 or 2 fights before that one happens. I want to see where his level is now. I fear the worst.

Either way we need TC vs Porter/Garcia/Spence/Pac/Thurman next? That is I think the list at 154. I'd even take Ugas I guess.
That's the million dollar question. I'm glad he is going against Danny who can crack. I know some wanted him to take a tune up fight against a non-puncher but that wouldn't have answered many questions. So now he goes against Danny who can hurt anyone he lands clean on.

Crawford himself said he was not interested in a Spence fight post-accident until he got a good win or two. Said he didn't want to fight someone who may be damaged goods and then receive hate for the win. Good perspective there.

Yeah, I would take Ugas as well but if he can get Porter, then he needs to do it. Arum said in an interview on Saturday that the Porter fight was available but he didn't think either fight wanted it. That's a shame, but Porter has been saying he wants to fight Crawford and even more than he wants to fight Spence so I hope that is a sign the fight is possible for early 2021.

He fights nothing but bums. Then resigns with top rank then tries to make it seem like we’re ****** for saying he’s fighting nothing but bums. Just be honest you do have skills but bob pays you good money to fight bums you can beat one handed and you have the wbo in your pocket.

Porter-Crawford really would be a great fight to make. If Shawn wants it, and Bob is OK with it, TC better do it

Huh? Did you see his fights with Taylor and Ramirez? The current 1 and 2 of the division. Had extremely close fights with them

Man I feel like most people I know who are somewhat neutral gave both fights to GGG. Some say the 2nd one was closer but in truth I think it was the same as the first. Canelo is in some rounds but he gives away too many with his lack of activity.

Bud will need to force bigger fights going forward. He would be better served forcing a fight at 154 vs a solid guy imo, rather than continuing to face the solid guys he is facing at 147. It's either face a PBC guy or move up.
Because Gamboa had fought twice in two years and had been going literally life and death in most fights - coming off a year or so layoff in a division 100% of people agreed was too much for him against a guy who comes in as big as a super jr middle.

Gamboa looked absolutely awful in the Perez fight before. The fight before THAT he was dropped BAD against Farenas in a hard fight.

There isn’t anyone alive that believed Gamboa would win. People called Bud a weight bully after that fight in fact.

And as someone else said about Bud moving up, the better 54 pounders are also not available.

Gamboa was a whirlwind at 126. Once he hit 130, it was downhill with 135 being an awful career choice. The lack of discipline and bad managing with that shaky chin. He’s just been a sacrifice at 35

Yet Crawford beat a prime version of him better than Haney and Tank. Bud was a weight bully at 135, no doubt about that.

Honestly, I don't buy the weight bully stuff. If you can make the weight, then you can fight in that weight class. There’s disadvantages of killing yourself to make certain weight class as well. Eventually the weight cut will be so hard that you lose punch resistance or have stamina issues late in the fight.

That's a fair point. I mean it doesn't bother me either, don't get me wrong. If you can make the weight, then it is what it is. I don't hold it against anyone in that way.

I would prefer to see guys fights closer to their own natural weight. Part of me just hates the big cuts guys do.

I guess the main reason I 'hate' it is because it makes me skeptical if the making weight part is done legit.
