Tyson Fury: "Wilder will NEVER get another shot at me"

Looks like Deontay Wilder has succeeded in talking himself out of a trilogy fight with the Gypsy King.

Fury saying here that he could sue Wilder for defamation, but he's not interested in doing that. He's moving on, Wilder is done and will never get another shot at the WBC title, after the things he's said.

Y'all must have different defame laws. If this was true our current President would make all his money in law suits.

Freeeeeeze him out. A typical Wilder speciality that's now come back on him.

IDC what he says now... in the fight game everything can change if the money is right. In 6 months' time or after AJ he may change his mind.

3rd fight will be completely different. Nobody will believe me, but I don't care. When the trilogy fight happens, I'll be on this board to give my prediction and we shall see how it plays out.

Is this another rule Tyson Fury is allowed to implement?

1: Tyson Fury gets credit for beating fighters he has not faced, if they look bad or somebody else beats them? Tyson Fury has beaten the in some sort of reality.

2: Tyson Fury now does not have to face certain fighters, because they are saying bad things about him.

3: Tyson Fury is held to a lower standard than Anthony Joshua, possibly the lowest standard I have seen in a recent heavyweight champion. Tyson Fury will most likely beat Wilder in a 3rd fight, it is a fight people want to see 'Other than Joshua, THIS is a fight people still want to see'.

The saga between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury is clearly not finished.

Wilder's own fault for letting his rematch clause expire. If you don't hear about Wilder suing Fury for breach of contract then everything that was said about the contract by Fury's side is true.

I'm not a lawyer, but I believe the way defamation law works is that if you make statements about a public figure which could have a negative impact on their reputation and/or livelihood, which you cannot substantiate or prove, then you are liable and can be sued. You can definitely be sued if you try to make money or advance your own career with statements like that.

Again, I'm not a lawyer, but I believe Wilder would be safe on the grounds that nobody who matters is going to take his ridiculous ramblings seriously, and the only person whose rep and livelihood could be negatively affected by them is Wilder himself.

Yeah **** Wilder now, it's over for him. Tyson should sue his ass into the poor house.

                    Eh?

Fury has already faced Wilder twice, and crushed him as decisively as any challenger has ever beaten a defending world champion. Unless Wilder buckles down and fights his way into a mandatory spot - which I can't see happening - the saga between he and Fury will only continue if Fury wants it to.

                    To the victor the spoils.
