Yeah lol I heard you, you said Oritz was being pushed, where? Ortiz was the most avoided? When? By who?

Are we even talking about the same Luis Ortiz? Cuz it all just seems a bit fabricated to me. I've followed this sport quite a while I don't remember any push by Luis Ortiz and I dont remember him ever being ducked. All seems like made up bollocks to me.

Who said ducked? I meant the media had been putting out articles about fighters avoiding Ortiz for years prior to him fighting Wilder.

I'd say around 2012-3 is when we started to hear about Luis a lot in English news. The language I mean. Spanish Boxing circles been on him since his debut. Then around 2014 he was a top HW with all the **** that comes with, like articles, and then by 2016 the "most feared"

I don't hardly remember if anyone ducked him or not, but, that's beside the point. The point is you said this was all put together by the media/PBC to better Wilder. I said that's some level of patient planning then and made fun of you for your conspiracy theory.

Not just a little prior, years prior.

As far as Ortiz being taken seriously by the media before Wilder I don't really feel like I should have to go back and find articles to prove that. I will if you make me, but Ortiz is WBA interim by 2014. Wilder is fighting Gavern and Scott in 2014.

Hell, look at January 2013 ratings:

See Luis? 13-WBC 2-WBA not on the IBF and 8-WBO

See Wilder? Nah, you don't. Because in 2012/3 Luis was a HW to watch so said the media, bodies, sites like this one, etc and Wilder was not so much. Still unheard of.

It's ****ty to make us find old articles because you can't remember when Ortiz was popular. There a hundred million dillian whyte-luis ortiz 2020 articles to get through no matter how you word it.

So 2016 when he started getting labelled as avoided. About the same time they really started to push Wilder hard.

        LOL.

Well there is no point going on about it all starting in 2012 and then sealing the proof with some publication from FKK knows who (prob PBC Affiliated) from not 2012 but 2016 right at the height of the Wilder is great campaign.

My point, my real point, is if Ortiz is some kind of monster why does his resume read of gate keeper level at best? Whose handled him? Who has not pushed his career to be the best he can be? And based on the resume, or lack of, how are we to be expected to swallow this bogeyman bollocks?

When exactly Ortiz got labeled the most feared I'm not sure. It's all here anyway though, and on BF24, and Boxrec, and everywhere else they were talking HWs from 2012-18. It was grass roots bollocks. There is no good reason. Like a lot of things fans say on forums it just comes from someone making a point that others like to repeat. It caught on and the article writers noticed and wrote the articles Ortiz fans obviously want to see. Ortiz used to have fans. Like how Wilder used to have more than just three fans here. Or how Wlad had a whole team of slavs before his last losses.

True. They're quick to blame Arum, Hearn, DelaHoya, TR, GBP, DAZN or their fighters when in-house fights that are easy to make are not happening. In this case they're playing crickets. Not ready to blame Haymon or any of these PBC showcase stars.

Ortiz lost his high ranking after testing positive for PEDs in 2014 and his win over was ruled a no contest vs Kayode .

He walked off a mando for A.J in 2017 but we’ll ignore that to then later declined Whyte again in 2018 and self admitted his team declined another A.J offer in 2019 .

No one ever avoided him like Wilder he’s declined career high paydays when offered a fight ,no link you could possibly post changes that . One of the links doesn’t disclose he signed a 3 fight deal with Matchroom in October 2016 as a second mando to Joshua so you conveniently didn’t post any link regarding that ?

Most avoided, yea in your world maybe but not the real one . Ha

Martin would be the second best guy Ortiz has ever fought.

I'm trying to figure out what the **** this has to do with anything DaNatural and I were talking about.

Never said I endorsed the media hype around Ortiz. He understood that and somehow you've read our convo and missed it....let me be clear, because you are ******.

I'm hispanic, I read spanish boxing news. We have just a ****load of south of the boarder hypejobs. I always thought Ortiz was one and even if I wanted to change my attitude for the Wilder fights my history had me dug in. Stop assuming ****. Read.
