Five effing choices in his own PBC stable.
And he chooses another bum in Flores.

What is the real story here?
Where is Coppinger when we need him?
    My thoughts exactly.

Even Washington would be decent, at least, but journeyman Flores is absurd.

Because it is supposed to be a build up fight for the Ruiz Jr. matchup, Breazeale was the right choice, IMO.

Cant see how someone can rank Ortiz in the world top 10 at this point.

Anyone else is feeling disgusted by this?

Here are the top guys available in the PBC stable:

      Martin
      Kownacki
      Ruiz
      Breazeale
      Washington
      Arreola

Ortiz picks another nobody named Flores.

He signed with the wrong outfit (Honestly) and boxing isn’t as big in america anymore. Has he even fought since he lost to Wilder? Before the Wilder fight he had 4 fights in 3 years, and some how the WBC made him a mandatory of Whyte who had 9 fights in the same period (Since both of them fought and lost to AJ)... He was soooo inactive it was the perfect opponent for Wilder. They thought they were picking Fury as well when he was inactive.

What's the point of Crawford crossing the street then?
I'm scratching my head too doe.
Don't know why Haymon just can't let them go.
                PBC is plague with inactivity.

Ortiz might be with 100HW's in pbc but he will never enter the ring with anybody with a pulse.
Enough said of the so proclaimed bogeyman.

I'm not sure but maybe he is waiting for an eliminator? He is #3 in 2 of the bodies. If the Whyte/Ortiz fight happens I am cool with it. That could end up being an eliminator in the WBC. Winner gets Povetkin for the mandatory spot. I would like to see Ortiz fight any of those 3.

This is to tell how poorly matched Ortiz has been matched aside wilder. No other decent name on his resumed but I wonder what made him the bogeyman.
Could be the things he didn't do rather than what he did.
