Hearn is as regional level as it gets.
He had no business being involved in world level.
DAZN wanted their own mouthpiece so they picked one that already didnt have anything going for him like the others.

All hes good for are his personal backyard staging regional british bar omelet-themed shows.

From the outside looking in a personal take on Eddie Hearn.

Good looking guy with a lot of money is very dangerous. He loves the sport of boxing but he loves himself way more. That’s not necessarily what’s best for boxing but it is what’s best for Hearn.

As for Hearn the man, nothing but kudos for what we can see. He makes Millions promoting the greatest sport in the world and surrounds himself with some of the most beautiful
      Women in the world.

He does strike me as a culero/ alphabet guy which loses all respect from me as a man.

But salute to Eddie Hearn, he’s living an awesome life.

I got a loads of pushbacks/bollocking from fellow Brits on here when I said it but it's becoming more glaring now.

When Haney signed with Matchroom - he was the biggest young talent in the US. He was bigger than Garcia, Tank and Teofimo Lopez. However, isn't it funny that they have all surpassed him, in terms of starpower? Haney was meant to be the next big in US boxing - the new Mayweather. However, due to terrible matchmaking and Hearn's inexperience - Haney's star has dimmed a bit whilst the rest are on the fringe of becoming PPV stars.

In boxing, being a teflon promoter with a loudmouth, reminiscent of Puff Daddy in the 90s (all up in the videos) doesn't give your boxers notoriety - it only makes the promoter popular. Boxers become popular based on how they're matched, the highlight reel that comes from their fights, their level of talent, who they beat, etc.

Haney had no business fighting Gamboa. He gained nothing from the fight and it dimmed his starpower.
He is the Donald Trump of Boxing, if not for his dad money he would not even be involved in the sport. AS for Haney sorry he does not have star power whatsoever he has his own promotional company and done nothing whatsoever even with walkover jobs, the shoulder is an excuse he done nothing to warrant any such hype people think he has, not in the same level as Lopez, Davis. I rate Garcia over him he comes to fight and Haney is just no thrills boxer

No. He is good. He made AJ huge money and does good for his boxers overall. He isn't perfect but who is?

LMAOOO at Donald Trump of boxing. I can definitely see the similarities and why you said that. His dad gave him the platform and money...a superstar fell on his lap and his mouth did the rest thus becoming Teflon Hearn the Puff Daddy of boxing. But he lacks everything else that makes a boxing promoter great.

A company called “Matchroom”, yet it’s the worst at matchmaking in the sport. It’s hilarious.

Haney is Mayweather-lite and there’s nothing wrong with his style. The fight against Gamboa was a pointless voluntary fight (he didn’t gain anything from the fight) and they should’ve picked someone younger with a questionable chin and decent pedigree and good style from 130-140 for that fight. Even an idiot knows that Gamboa is finished and he would go in there not to get knocked out.

skysports also handed him a monopoly on boxing. by freezing out every other promoter.

they had wanted to do something like this for a while and they never made it a secret. they chose hearn because he is obviously easy to control and manipulate.

and yet hearn is still struggling to compete with frank warren LMAO 😝
