So he'll never face a DAZN fighter, right? No Andrade, no Golovkin III. Does that mean he'll now (finally) try and fight TR and PBC fighters? Which MWs and SMWs do they have?

I wonder what this means for Canelo then.
Canelo, similar to Floyd, and Oscar before him, doesn’t need a promotional company cutting into his pie anymore to sell fights.

Yeah I said that years ago.

He’ll need to do a deal somewhere though.

Logically seems like Showtime would be a good option.

It was probably bound to happen, as the personal and business relationship between Oscar and Canelo had broken down.

They would rather cut ties with Canelo than show the court what they signed with DAZN using Canelo’s name on the contract

Seems as if he will be fighting Caleb Plant who is a champion at super middle. Jermall is still a middleweight. The plant fight is a better fight I might add, if Canelo beats plant, TO ME, he has done something more impressive based on the style matchup alone. Plant has all the tools to really frustrate Canelo like Lara did. It would not surprise me if Canelo tastes Canvas in that fight. Plant’s punches do damage due to the speed and accuracy.

You knew it was only a matter of time before Canelo went solo. Big name fighters do that, Oscar did, Floyd did, Manny did, Cotto did...

I actually don't think Ryan will split yet though. I used to think he'd follow Canelo but if he knows he's going to be the next top dog in GBP that may be enough of a lure to keep him there.
