Why does WILDER promote that “Dented Skull” narrative? He’s just a salesman!

Can anyone verify or link of a real-time injury where a skull “dents” as if bone is Play-doh? The skull is the most dense bone in the body. Does anybody know which exact shot it was, Round-Time, that did it? Ideally such a trauma would have signature fractures/cracks from that area. How does the bone just recess as such without the man collapsing from the impact?

A boxer can feel the pain on serious cranium blows from the top or rear head... so much that they rub the area if it hurts... I know what it sounds like getting hit hard with and without head gear, and I also know what it sounds like when you hit your head on a hard surface.

I mean how many MMA ( 4oz glove) fights have a history in denting skulls from Hail Mary shots or Bareknuckle hail Mary shots?

Seems like Wilder is blatantly lying and is being persuaded to sell the fight at all costs because he and his mgmt have probably sailed to never make big money again.

LMFAO does he really got a dented skull? When I saw it it just looked like the parts around it just lumped up and it made the normal non inflamed area look dented just because well the surrounded area is fucked up

Your assessment is correct. A human skull will not dent without fracturing. A dent in the skull is known as a "depressed fracture" and is classed as a "severe head injury".

If Wilder really had a dent in his skull he would have been hospitalised immediately after the fight and there is no way on earth he would have been talking about an immediate rematch.

There are many types of skull fractures, but only one major cause. Get the facts on fractures and learn about diagnosis and treatment.

It's remarkable that he survived another 5 rounds after Fury caved his skull in with an egg weight

I just presumed it was where his brain had shrunk a little bit more from his increased dumbness.

Its real doe, it came out on the autopsy, his brother said so

I'm pretty sure it's just the shape of his skull. It's always like that. Except for when Fury egg-weight-whipped it into a swollen mess.

You guys are funny. But seriously, are Finkel and Haymon seriously this desperate to do tacky marketing knowing full well that such an injury could not happen? Even when the Wilder X-Rays were “leaked” how come there wasn’t a professional diagnosis (with headlines) from one or more experts that there were indeed healing fractures from that injury? I don’t know what’s worse, Wilder actually believing all that as he’s being dummied by his mgmt as well, or he knows, lying, and being coached by PBC mgmt to sell the fight at all costs because Haymon knows the money isn’t there anymore. That’s why Wilder even said he ducked AJ money to honor Fury...

The thing that gets me is that he thinks that him getting hit hard by Fury HAS to be because of cheating, because there's no way a 6ft 9 guy with gorilla arms weighing 18 stone+ could possibly hit hard without cheating

He was cleared to return to sparring in April. He hasn't got a dented skull

Given we've heard nothing from Finkel, can we assume that he is in on this?
