Roy beat some good solid guys, and had decisions over a few outstanding opponents, Floyd and Manny fought and beat murders rows for a very long time over the most hotly contested divisions in boxing 130 to 154 .
Nobody in those days stopped Toney (Toney was NEVER stopped) or Hopkins, he was 23 for the Hopkins fight, 24 for the Toney fight in which he won every rd., and a couple of years later fought McCallum. He KDd McCallum in a late rd but decided to box it out. He won every round plus an extra pt. for the KD. What more could be asked. (MCCallum was NEVER KO'd or stopped)....except by critics...who have an axe to grind... I don't.

RJJ. The man wasn't called superman at times for nothing... Floyd always relied on his defense and that was his primary game. If you were into that, cool. Roy would show amazing abilities and unbelievable moves that you should never get away with. Floyd was great at defensive moves that he just really mastered but didn't invent.

Axe to grind lol, Im just keeping it real, he destroyed B graders and out boxed elites, pretty much no different to Floyd and their resume are also very close in lots of ways, I like both guys as fighters and pretty much see a young PBF as Roy, Floyds boxing aged better because he had the boxing ability to beat elite guys without needing power Roy couldnt as he went up.

As for Mayweather and his hands, I care nothing, but I never saw any of the items you mention. I know he got Lidocaine injections sometimes before fights. Legal because it was a Mayweather fix, or illegal, I don't know and care less. I just don't like him, his sty le, his cherry picking and the way he ****** Corrales in, when Corrales was not only destitute but going to a 2 year jail sentence, as well as being so overweight that he spent 12 days straight in the sweatbox; his body just rejected weight loss. Plus was 10 lbs over the morning of the fight and sweated himself to the bone .and had to be HELPED to walk to the scales.......Because he needed the money to pay the lawyers. He appeared in a special video before the fight was asked why...? and he explained it all. Did no training at all. Larry Merchant remarked that on going past Corrales' dressing room before the fight "there he was scoffing down a HUGE Burger..." His trainer complained that Corrales spent all his time when not in the sweatbox, in his hotel room playing with a Gameboy.

Since then, Mayweather is abhorrent to me, especially since he boasts it was his best fight.
It wasn't a fight at all.
Whole load of nonsense in this post.

Kostya was on the verge of retiring. Their careers did not match timewise. He didn't beat Gatti (another worn out stiff) for the faked-up title, until over a year after Tzu had retired at 37. He was about 8 years younger than Tzu and didn't have any tough fights at all, apart from Emanuel Augustus, who, if he had any sort of a punch-which he hadn't- would likely have KO'd or KD'd Mayweather in their very good fight.
Floyd fought top guys but was ducked by the big names like Juan Lazcano, Freitas, Casamayor, etc.

Those would have been great fights. He had been trying to fight Kostya since 2004 but he ducked Mayweather.

Look it up, better yet, rewind your memory to that time when this was all known by those who really know boxing and didn't turn a blind eye to it because they hate Floyd.

Have it your own way. I couldn't care less. You are a Floydiot, I am a long-time boxing enthusiast who insists on FAIR PLAY. My credentials are not equalled on this site except possibly by Larry Rushmore for whom I have great respect. Boliodogs also, and Battling Nelson. .

Until that Corrales fight I had no animus against Mayweather at all. There used to be a very knowledgeable guy called Ray Corso who, unhappily, passed away, far too young.

You seem to be some sort of basement guru... Please do not bother to answer You had your throw at me, and I gave it back to you.

Not quite accurate, and I'll say no more than ...why do you not get tired of licking up to Mayweather, an acknowledged cheat and cherry picker. His "Brains Trust"..which you wouldn't remember, got it wrong with Augustus and Castillo.
