Those would have been great fights. He had been trying to fight Kostya since 2004 but he ducked Mayweather.



Look it up, better yet, rewind your memory to that time when this was all known by those who really know boxing and didn't turn a blind eye to it because they hate Floyd.

Kostya was on the verge of retiring. Their careers did not match timewise. He didn't beat Gatti (another worn out stiff) for the faked-up title,until over a year after Tzu had retired at 37. He was about 8 years younger than Tzu and didn't have any tough fights at all, apart from Emanuel Augustus, who, if he had any sort of a punch-which he hadn't- would likely have KO'd or KD'd Mayweather in their very good fight.

Steelhead...that was a typo, in another post on this site I pointed out that Mayweather fought Gatti in late June just around the time that Tzu had fought Hatton and immediately retired.
