I fully expect plenty of promoters to try and create UFC styled promotions 'But none of the champions will be valued as highly as WBC, WBA, WBO , IBF world boxing champions'.

It will be seen as just another belt or championship to capture 'And I don't think boxers will like the idea of being imprisoned inside one organisation'.

So we have Zuffa Champ, 1 Champ vs The universal boxing world.

All this will really do is create EVEN more titles 'Because the WBC, WBA, WBO AND IBF are going nowhere' do fans really want the WBC to disappear? I doubt it.

Are UFC champions really world champions? No 'They are the champions of the UFC'.

Boxing has actual legitimate world champions.
So whose wbc champion? Haney or Teo??

Are boxing fans not exciting when fighters are collecting belts, and facing off with other world champions?

The UFC styled promotions will just be another belt, what is 1 champ or Zuffa boxing meant to do? Let the world know who is world champion.

The UFC has zero world champions, those fighters are only champions of the UFC 'Which consist of just a few 100 fighters'.

In boxing you have legitimate athletes who can claim to be world champion 'Zuffa Boxing and 1 Champ will just be plastic in house belts, like the UFC belts'.
I dont disagree with the orgs having 1 belt each per weight class and then unification fights are fantastic. I dont understand each org having 3, 4 , and 5 belts per weight class though. Is it necessary for a super, world, interm, silver, diamond ect ect in just 1 class. Do you understand what I'm saying? I think the UFC model is bogus but I also dont know why we have so many belts from each org per weight class it gets ridiculous at a certain point.

Lol... so Eddie did the math. When holding belts hostage it is better if you only need one sanctioning fee. And one mandatory to duck.

How is Eddie going to get boxing down to one belt per weight when your business in boxing is suffering under your management.

One champion per division won't happen unless Dana Whites boxing takes over.

One belt per division per sanctioning body is much more realistic and would benefit the sport imo.

I don't blame the fighters, they have no place else to go. I never heard of anybody, who was advanced to supervisor that said he wasn't capable. All these titles are promotional widgets and protection schemes. The fees are just part of it, the protection is the worst, and don't think they're protecting the fighters. Once a guy is through, they feed him to the dogs and move on.

                    Good luck with that

Like the powers that be in Boxing would ever allow that.

I have caught you out on this one, haven't I mate?

The UFC have zero world champions, no fighter inside the UFC can claim that they are World Champions 'They are champions of the UFC'.

Boxing has legitimate world champions, fair enough? It may take some time and number of fights to define who the world number 1 is 'But once a fighter claims undisputed status, they are the champions of the entire world'.

Zuffa Boxing, 1 Champ will just be another belt to collect 'There is no way organisations like that will overshadow the universal world of boxing'. The WBC, WBA, WBO AND IBF are not just going to disappear' So 1 promoter that dictate to a few hundred boxers 'The world of boxing does not consist of just afew hundred boxer'.

I know afew people who have fought in mixed martial arts, but in different organisations other than the UFC 'For all we know? They could actually be better fighters than he UFC champions, who is to say they are not? That is the game for you 'That is what happens when you don't have world champions in your sport'.
