It basically boils down to the top 20 or 25 people in the division yelling "I'M THE CHAMP" when truthfully it's all speculation amongst us fans as to who the man is in that division.
I don't have a issue with the belts, people will complain when there is 1 belt 'Why suddenly will, 1 belt fixed everything? What needs fixing? So boxing fans, want to do away with Undisputed status? Why? Once a fighter is undisputed 'That is the man in the division'. And in-between then fans and the media will debate and speculate etc.

Are boxing fans not exciting when fighters are collecting belts, and facing off with other world champions?

The UFC styled promotions will just be another belt, what is 1 champ or Zuffa boxing meant to do? Let the world know who is world champion.

The UFC has zero world champions, those fighters are only champions of the UFC 'Which consist of just a few 100 fighters'.

In boxing you have legitimate athletes who can claim to be world champion 'Zuffa Boxing and 1 Champ will just be plastic in house belts, like the UFC belts'.

I need to see DiBella and Hearns in the same room.

If you love the sport more than hate Eddie Hearn you have to love the idea of having one champion.

Unfortunately Al Haymon, Goldenboy and Arum will never agree because each have champions they keep away from the other's champion killer. The promoters, networks and the sanctioning bodies will lose millions with one champion and that can't be allowed.

Thank you for Dibella inhabiting Eddie Hearns body, if even for just one moment.

I can't see it happening but it would be great if there was just one world champion in each weight division.

Its just not gonna happen. The UFC works the way it does because it gained a monopoly on everyone else in its sport, which means it has dictatorial levels of power to get fights made. Its also got 27 years of marketing and brand building behind it to the extent that some people think the ****ing sport itself is called "UFC". Its a completely different situation.

the reason why Eddie Hearn is envious of the UFC is because like Dana White, he wants to overcharge fans for fights and pay his fighters very little!

Add the WBA and WBC to the WBO in that heap-o-crap, full house of garbage.

Instances where another promotion has a champion that anyone believes could beat their UFC equivalent are not that common though. There is a clear difference in depth and quality in most divisions between the UFC and everywhere else.

One promotional company .....ffs! Just look at the shyte he and sky put on PPV 1/ Old guy Del who has never beaten anyone decent lost to them all, fighting a test fight guy for no titles top of the bill PPV! 2/ A 41 year old who has just ironed out a guy who has never won any belts in a rematch ..top of the bill PPV 2/ Joshua in a fight at 1/14 on that nobody wants to see top of the bill PPV .
The module that the Hearns have is only good for them as accountants. For fans it's all sleight of hand.Eddie has put Usyk in with Del as Del is old and as i've said little risk. 1/12 on is Usyk.So Joshua 1/14 on to beat Pulev wins Usyk 1/12 on wins then Hearn has a in house fight Joshua v Usyk weather Usyk is any good at heavyweight or not .Hearn will sell this shyte as the next thriller in manilla and the idiots will buy.....is this what the boxing fans want? Not me , just the best fighting the best and an end to Hearns monopoly or anyones for that matter.

Actually, all these world boxing organisations (WBC, wba, wbo, IBF, etc) can't do their job properly. They don't appoint big fights. All the big fights happen when boxers and their promoters want them to happen. WBC and other organisations just make it look like they matter something. Promoters decide everything in professional boxing: they do matchmaking, decide when and where the fight happens. WBC just do what promoters want it to do. So it is a good idea for promoters to have their own belts. UFC looks more like a real sport than professional boxing does, because of real fighter ratings, schedule and competition.
