I think he does it if the purse splits are reversed.

      Exactly.

You guys that are upset a guy you for whatever reason felt was some generational talent lost. Sorry but winning the rematch will not being that back. It’s gone forever. You need to let go of the fantasy that Loma was somehow better than a certain fighter you hate.

This was the same garbage after a certain fight where posters ( who are more haters of a fighter and thus the outcome) talked themselves into believing the shoulder was what caused what they saw in the ring. It was the Jab, the counters the timing, the footwork and the excellence that caused that outcome.

It’s always easier to whine and believe in excuses then to admit the real reasons you spewed so much venom and we’re ultimately proven wrong. It’s ok to be wrong.

Teo owes Loma nothing. Go out and make the fights with other top guys that will make you the most money.

Win the belts at 140. Then tell Loma to come there and fight you. If you don’t vacate and stay at 135 Loma should fight Haney 1st since he already dodged him.

Win that and if Teo is still at 135, rematch.
That's an awful lot of avoiding. I would have hated to talk boxing with you in the Lewis/McCall/Rahman era.

"yeah Rock, take that win and just run away".

      NO!

That kind of avoidance would have cheated us of moments like this:

Every fighter that loses a CLOSE matchup (and it WAS close) deserves at least one more shot.

Otherwise, just cancel Estrada/Cuadras now and be done with it.

Wilder was gifted a draw and almost got killed in the rematch. Come on, use your brain kid. Anybody who loses fair and square doesn't deserve a rematch.

Just like people want to see Canelo-GGG 3, Fury-Wilder 3, for what? In boxing, rematches=money

2 good half rounds by Loma doesnt warrant a rematch, the win was too clear and concise.

I'd like a rematch... not that I thought it was particularly controversial, I just would like to see what would happen if Loma came in with a better gameplan. Once Loma started motoring he was winning the bulk of the rounds and the majority of the exchanges... just baffling why he took so long to actually start fighting. I'd like to see if he could do better or if Teo will always have his number.

What is wrong with a rematch when the guy with 3 of the 4 belts lost a close fight that Andre Ward scored a draw? Lopez will fight whoever he wants to fight and i hope he fights Loma if he is fit. if loma is not fit to fight then I would like him to fight Haney next.

That's fair. Lopez is the unified champion now.
