Most of the world thought Fury won so i guess most of the world doesn't know what they were watching?

Most fans tribally score fights; most judges in big fights are doing what they are told to do. I don't look at anyone else's card as evidence of a certain result.

In this case you have the anti-Wilder crowd (AJ fans, Floyd fans to some degree - especially how Floyd said it was 5-0 when Jim Gray interviewed him, Fury fans) who make up a big part of the fan base of boxing. So yes I think those who scored that fight wide for Fury were largely doing it out of tribalism.

I don't look at scorecards either but Fury clearly won. To each their own

And of course, fans' opinions are just that. The history books are what matters.

Which is why rematches are needed when half the population doesn't agree with the history books.

It must have been a good fight because I'm still thinking about it 4 days later, that is usually my test of whether or not it was a good night. I left excited for Teo and for boxing, wanted to see more out of Loma, and would have paid extra for the fight to continue on as Lopez was finally breaking through after getting getting touched up pretty good in the preceeding late rounds. Since the right man won, I guess I'm OK if Lopez moves on but I think there could be another good fight there and I'm just going to assume the alternative is going to be a homecoming fight against a cupcake. I'd rather it be MSG vs Loma with Teo as the MAN, and fighting in front of his fans.

You honestly think people didn't want a draw between Fury-Wilder in the 1st fight in order to get a 2nd one? You think every single draw is justified?

                    It's not about what's justified.

I don't know how many times I have to say this.

                    Boxing is a BUSINESS.

Once people start accepting that obvious truth, it'll be a lot easier to understand why ridiculous scorecards happen.

Jamel Herring. Enzo Mac. Even F'n Crawford. All of them had it close for Teo and not a blowout. These are PRO FIGHTERS.

Arum telling his fighters to reject Julie?

                    Come on man.

Every fight it’s always so predictable around here who will call for a rematch and who will be against it.

If it was a good fight, why not do a rematch? What’s the problem? There always seems to be a contingent rooting against a rematch. It’s usually the same bs, act like a close fight wasn’t close so it doesn’t “warrant” a rematch or say the fighter did this or that and doesn’t “deserve” a rematch.
