That’s really good because neither of them are household names. Even Lomachenko with his accolades is generally unknown. Lopez is sorta new/green and recently made noise. Very good numbers.

9pm PT. They would have to start the main event at 7pm.

Make good fights and people will watch. Duh!

Stop marinating. Stop letting network and promoter rivalries get in the way.

Have the best fight the best more regularly and boxing could have ratings like this more regularly.

What do you know? You put on fights that people want to watch and you get good ratings.

This was the best fight Top Rank put on ESPN, which is kinda embarrassing for them.

Ratings and buyrates and ticket sales are what make fights happen. Bad ratings lead to less networks willing to put big fights on television.

You're free to not care. But it's silly to question why others would.

But it’s nice that this fight got what it deserves, despite an awful undercard.
Undercard was good wtf lol Josue Vargas nice skills decent fight . Berlanga KO streak and then an evenly matched Co main event against two highly ranked entertaining fighters

Exactly right. To add insult to injury SKY didnt even bother trying to put Loma Lopez on subscription. Instead we get matchroom dregs.

Those are great numbers considering NCAA Football and MLB Playoffs! Hopefully Bob and Eddie can cool down the rhetoric and give us Lopez vs. Haney on ESPN! It doesn't look like March Madness will happen in 2021, so that would be perfect!

Touché. Can’t argue with that right on.

I mean this is not rocket science, put great fights up you're going to get the eyeballs, DSG/Thruman did huge numbers as well free TV, but CBS drop the ball,
