My response was to someone saying that Teo is being a bad sport and I was pointing out that Loma was a bad sport after his clear loss.

I think teo was being an extremely good sport

I'm about to ruffle some feathers, but I'm about to bring race into the Lomachenko hype. I hate that so many people overrated Lomachenko. To me he was always a very good fighter, but I never saw anything that prompted me to believe that he was the best boxer ever. I hate that he was marketed as such. Could you call him the most winningest boxer ever? Yes, but that's it. I believe he was overhyped because he is white. How could anyone call him the best ever....when there were fighters with legitimate pro careers like Ali, Leonard, Chavez, Robinson, Pacquiao, Tyson, Louis, Marciano, Morales/Barrera/Marquez, etc before him?
Some of these greats have very distinguishable fights in their careers - even Gatti has. The only classic fight Loma had been involved in, he just lost. I never agreed with him being listed number 1, P4P. I believe Canelo had a better argument for that seed even before the Lopez matchup. I believe Loma was there for taking against Lopez or Davis - whoever got to him first. It just so happened it was a confident and mentally ready Lopez. A lot of people need to ask themselves this question: If Loma was Black, would he have been rated so high - especially with no classic/legendary victories that define careers?

Loma lost clearly. I had it 116-112 and 115-113 would've been fine but there's was no way he won that fight. If you believe that Loma won you had on your biased goggles on as did many others. I believe Loma could've done just enough to win a few early rounds but he didn't and it cost him dearly.

Tank would've lost. Tank is smaller than Teofimo and if you watched him against a good boxer with movement he has problems. Pedraza gave Tank problems early. Had Pedraza fought outside like he did Loma he would've made it to the final bell. If Tank was so special he would've fought Farmer over a year ago but Floyd knew it would be a bad style matchup so he avoided him. Tanks mental fortitude is questionable he looked like he was gassed and ran out of ideas when fighting a completely shot Gamboa and it took him almost twelve rounds to get him out.

And to all of those not giving Lopez his credit, he deserves it - even though he was obnoxious. Did he reveal some flaws, yes, but he fought a great fight. And please stop making excuses for Loma. He performed the way he did because he was outperformed by Lopez. He got off to a slow offensive start because he fought a powerful opponent that posed a real threat. Loma fought valiantly too. Boxing fans were treated to a great fight!

Why wouldn't he be as highly rated if he was black? What makes you think white fighters get more hyped or highly rated than other ethnicities? And also who was calling him the greatest ever? Strange post.

Weird because when Loma was Loma you looked completely lost and out of your baskets... Kudos on the "Unified" though...

Basically how I feel about the fight. When Loma did decide to fight he dominated easy. Lopez won the first half by default simply by being more active but never really causing any harm to Loma.

When I heard Bradley claim that an uppercut landed clean and did some damage to Loma and then they show the replay where the uppercut clearly missed I knew something was up. If Bradley was missing that and thinking those punches landed then I figured the judges must have been seeing the same thing. A lot of the shots that Lopez got credit for in the first half were blocked/parried by Loma but since Lopez is so fast it was hard to tell.

Lopez showed more heart than I thought he had so I give him credit for that. I just wonder why 2 of the 3 judges gave Loma 3 rounds or less the entire fight....

Rematch needed, would like to see the second half of the fight continue for round 13, the fight was just heating up late!

Teo showed plenty of holes in his game but Lomachenko put in a shocking performance

Teo would not have got away with that second half performance against a elite full lightweight, but against lomachenko he was big enough to soak up the combos and get to his second wind.

The problem for Loma was one Lopez uppercut or body shot, was equal to 3 Loma straight left hands! Lopez intimidated Loma, but Zepeda might not be intimidated! Ramirez might not be intimidated! Prograis might not be intimidated! Lopez might wanna go after Haney or Tank, if the weight cut wasn't that bad?

I get that and agree with it depending on the level of disrespect before the fight. I was just pointing out to those saying Teo's comments after the fight were 'unsportsmanlike' were made after he tried being a good sport post-fight which Loma seemed to reject and made him seem unsportsmanlike in defeat.

I'm basically saying that Loma's fans shouldn't really be expecting Lopez to show him nothing but the utmost respect when Loma isn't reciprocating.

The way Loma was after the fight was similar to how Lopez Sr described him when he met him long before this fight was signed. He said he tried to shake his hand and talk to him but Loma just looked at him like he's a piece of ****. That's what Loma's demeanor was like to Lopez post-fight, it could be because of all the **** Lopez talked before the fight or Lopez Sr might've been right this whole time and Loma is an arrogant prick. Who knows.
