Danny got the 'he's doing better than expected and isn't KOed or dominated' cards from a lot of people, UK pundits included. Combine that mindset with anyone who doesn't like GGG as well, and you have people finding rounds for Danny that weren't there.
When a guy overperforms relative to expectations, some people want to make the story that he was really in the fight, rather than just admitting he lost 8-4.
Mexican TV, come on. They would score any 12 round fight, at that time, against GGG.
Citing pundits' cards, or even worse, judges' cards, is not evidence of an outcome. Anyone can just watch the fight. If you find 7 rounds for Danny there you don't know what you're watching, or you're really really really trying to give him rounds he doesn't deserve.
