Comical argument.
There's no fooling going on when a guy beats Gary Russell Jr in his third pro fight. That's an incredible feat. Humiliating excellent champions like Nicholas Walters and Guillermo Rigondeaux and making them quit (hell, Walters quit boxing after) is nothing if not a testament to greatness.
Lots of guys probably have the talent to fight for and win world titles in their first handful of fights. Few would dare to. We say it all the time in boxing; great fighters are the ones who dare to be great. Lomachenko will unquestionably go down as one of the greatest of the era.
Every guy has a limit on how far they can move up. We saw in the Linares fight that Loma was not big enough at 135 to dominate. "How many weight classes beyond your optimal weight class can you be a champion in?" is a ****** metric to try and disqualify someone from being in the great fighters club. So is "He lost his second pro fight!" He was fighting for a world title. Bernard Hopkins lost his fight fight to a nobody, so did Juan Manuel Marquez. They're trash too I suppose?
This is a bad take, dude.
