”Disregard for human life”? WTF? Are people being forced to attend the event? There’s a lot of people out here that still believe they can make safe and intelligent choices for themselves without the cozy glove of government wrapping them into some false sense of security. This event is a major step in the right direction.

Texas is bigger and has more people

You say Texas has not controlled the virus... Texas has 29.90 million people. Covid 19 cases 816000. I live in Dallas and its a Red state. They will not let 816k people affect the other 29 million people. That is less than 2% of the population..I will be at the fight...Glad the fight is taking place in DFW.

Not a smart move. Going up against another good fight and big name on the same night. These promoters just don't get it.

Naa I'm not them other guys. If the fight wasn't close Kenny Porter wouldn't have said after the fight if Danny had been giving the decision we wouldn't complain or call robbery.

AT&& stadium holds over 100k and you can fit in 15-20k while still practicing social distancing. Well, if you put the fight at Barclays, what are you going to do, allow 4k fans in? Mind you, NY isn't even allowing fans at sporting events yet.

And let's say he is fighting there because he has to and not his preference...I mean that would indicate that Spence being the A-side is able to call the shots there, right? And I don't think that is what happened here. This was the only way to assure a good amount of fans in the arena and a place where one guy draws very well at. DSG benefits here from Spence being the hometown guy who has a big fanbase in the Dallas/Arlington area.
If it's a "theory" & not an accurate assessment you should post all the big fights where they fight in the guys hometown. I specified the normalcies & the climate I'm not exactly sure what's the debate.

They see themselves as a large community, and we see ourselves in terms of "subdivisions!" That's because of our leadership! On 9/11 "WE" got attacked! In 2020 "NY" has Covid-19! Totally different mindset, and people are dying because of it!

The Garcia/Campbell fight was literally announced this morning, around the same time as Spence/DSG. You don't book the AT&T stadium just an hour, this is something they would have been looking into for a while.

And the viewers for Spence/DSG will be completely different compared to the KingRy/Campbell viewers. The hardcores that love boxing aren't usually the ones that purchase the PPVs anyways.

No, you said the fight wouldn't take place at the AT&T stadium if it was before the pandemic...Well, sure, it was suppose to take place at the Barclays Center...But obviously you can't put the fight there since NY is not allowing fans at sporting events yet and there is not a stadium they can get there to allow the amount of fans you will get at the AT&T stadium.

I got the Charlo PPV, found that card to be much more attractive than this one. The undercard may provide competitive fights but none of them move the needle for me.

The Campbell/Garcia is much more intriguing for me and much cheaper.

Each promoter knows what the others are doing. Besides, PPV is dying. No one outside of Canelo, Pac, Floyd or a couple of HW's is going to crack a million or more. Spence vs. Danny might pull 400K. It's a good fight, but so is the Campbell scrap. As a fan I'd like to see fights get staggered out a little bit.
