Top Rank and Crawford just got trolled by the date change and venue. Crawford's fight against Brook will be significantly less relevant with less fans, no PPV and competition level. Spence A side all the way.

Still time for TR to move it to a venue that will take in fans.

He is an opponent at this point until he beats a notable fighter. still a very good opponent though, obviously.
He beat Shawn Porter on my card. Hard for me to say a guy is the winner cause someone else did & I don't agree. He lost on paper but won imo.

That means nothing. In most cases anybody who's name holds any weight is not fighting in the other guys hometown. That's reserved for people who are intentionally brought in to make you look good, mandatories, & showcases. If this fight wasn't during the Pandemic & happened originally in Jan 2020 like it was supposed to, I highly doubt it be in Spence hometown. Idk if he's upset but he's probably fighting there because he has too rather than it being his preference.

You must be a huge Danny Garcia fan then, because that fight wasn’t even that close. There is now way Danny Garcia won the majority of the rounds, even a draw would be very generous.

            Well fook.

I was thinking King Ry vs Luke was gonna land in the UK so be on earlier. Is that unlikely or definitely not happening?

Both of these fights are pretty fun & compelling to me. Danny ain't no easy W & who knows what's reallllllllly up with Errol after his accident + Luke ain't no joke & King Ry has been doing well in his step up fights up til now.

I'll 2 screen it I guess, but I'd prefer to be focused on each of these fights exclusively & specifically when they are on.

The A-side absolutely can dictate where the fight goes. Most cases it will be in Vegas or BK, but your theory doesn't hold any weight since they can't put this fight in a stadium in Brooklyn...Where it was originally supposed to take place at. AT&& stadium holds over 100k and you can fit in 15-20k while still practicing social distancing. Well, if you put the fight at Barclays, what are you going to do, allow 4k fans in? Mind you, NY isn't even allowing fans at sporting events yet.

And let's say he is fighting there because he has to and not his preference...I mean that would indicate that Spence being the A-side is able to call the shots there, right? And I don't think that is what happened here. This was the only way to assure a good amount of fans in the arena and a place where one guy draws very well at. DSG benefits here from Spence being the hometown guy who has a big fanbase in the Dallas/Arlington area.

Delusional.. Ryan Garcia has a large fanbase.. no one paying all that PPV money for a fight Spence widely expected to win.. Ryan in a big fight at a much lower cost

Nah, the fight is taking place stateside.

That fight can still move to another date though. No venue has been named and maybe GBP tries to get fans to attend just like Spence/DSG.

I think the US government has been leading by bad example. And lotsa regular folks are just saying fook it cuz no one is doing the "good idea" stuff & at some point most folks gotta keep it moving.

Of note Japan did the right things during the coronavirus outbreak & never had anything close to the infection or death rates of the US (1 in 42 got it & 1 in 1,516 died in the US, 1 in 1,452 got it & 1 in 78,345 died in Japan) or other countries who didn't take it seriously & they've been attending live sports since July.
