  • 'Yeap maywheater lost to jl castillo and to maidana on the first fights thats why he had to fight them both again'

He got points verdicts so he didn't HAVE to fight them again. Joe Calzaghe was beaten up by Robin Reid, got the verdict & resolutely refused to fight him again. There are hundreds of other examples.

Carl Froch didn't duck anyone but he didn't exactly hunt down Andre Dirrell for a rematch.

By contrast, after close decisions Floyd did go straight back in with Castillo, who could really fight, & Maidana, who isn't that skilled but was a hard night for anyone, & convincingly beat them both.

The Schmuck who wrote that has an opinion on boxing but he shouldn't be encouraged to air it. How ****** have you got to be to post that.
I’ll be honest when I read that description of Duran and the summarisation of the rematch I didn’t bother to read anything else he posted. Absolutely clueless.

I’m guessing you know little of boxing history beyond present time to say such garbage as what you’ve posted.
Using Pep's resume as an example, his last string of 50+ fights are shady AF.

When Floyd became man to beat 1 fight every 18 months more like it
Averages are not misleading. I did round up, though.

Hence, the quality was surely lacking.

            • You’re not TBE if you’re the only one saying it no matter how many knock off hats and t shirts you have printed up at a mall kiosk.

              • Love him or hate him, he's the greatest boxer that ever laced 'em up. I can't think of another fighter who was as hard to beat (or even hit cleanly) as he was. Hell, even past his prime he was one of the absolute hardest fighters to beat

He chose money over legacy so he has to live with the vast majority of critics not having him as the best ever.
Exactly!!! He has no one to blame but himself because he's had chance after chance to prove it.. But didn't. Not until x fighter took a few loses.. Or got old from wars.. No nuts no glory!!!
