It really is a shame the fight couldn’t have happened around 2010. The Manny that beat De La Hoya, Cotto & Hatton would have been a very interesting fight against Floyd. I think it would have been a tossup on who would have won & it would have been way better than the awful fight we got.

definitely.. he is only taking the fight the moment he saw advantages over his opponents. even the gloves thing becomes a big deal. he fought fighters in his own condition. literally a strategic fight plan in his favor.

i disagree with him comparing that he beat more world champions with past fighters because every tom diick and harry is a world champion now, but no one can doubt he's tbe skill wise and financially other than that SRR is tbe imo.

Paul Williams Shined when Floyd was retired the moved up and Sergio was a middleweight and the fight died and his Chavez fight. The fighter he really ducked was Winky Wright and Dibella backs that up.

no...just no. floyd constantly changed what he wanted over and over, eventually saying he gets all the ppv revenue. thats absurd and you know it. he only fought pac when showtime forced him, after pac was ko'd, and while cheating with tue's. thats the truth. floyd has a long history of ducking, just look up what he did vs margarito or winky. same crap

May is "one" of the BEST EVER! He wanted Oscar & Mosley far b4 they ever agreed to fight him. He wanted to fight the very best on the biggest stage with the use of crazy smacktalk that lured in his ever insecure haters that were obsessed with hoping he'd lose.....Skillfully he was better than Ali and especially flat footed heart driven Marciano....but somehow people bring character into the equation - and theres nothing wrong with that if all the faults of everyone is equally highlighted...but they're not.

Quite frankly I'm not into highlighting character flaws, but all the ducking talk and who they fought can be debated with Floyd coming out on top! - imo.

The famous Rope-A-Dope made two dopes out of the one who used it and the one who fell for it.....Marcianos best fights were against old over-the-hill cruiserweights that lacked skill and again - youth .....These so called greats didn't have what Mayweather had. But just like him they did have ambition and drive, doing very well for themselves, but not health-wise, which equates to LACKING in boxing defence.....

Mayweathers style wouldnt be pleasing, to say, someone who'd appreciate KO artists - or a dogged come forward determined rock em' sock em' guy like Gatti, Ward or even Marciano. It's why I'd rate Mayweather as one of the "very best," because his "style" wouldnt please everyone, but was VERY VERY effective - even against seek & destroy KO threats....Only thing though, KO artists usually leave themselves open for getting severely hurt or KO'd by someone someone just as tough.....Mayweather is one of the few very best for sure!!
