If no draw at least, Dervy was robbed.

But this is going to be the problem. Now showtime and PBC are getting rid of any objective commentators that call it as it is, Then the audience who don’t truly know what they are looking at are going to get fooled, because the commentary team are just cheerleaders now.

It was clear to anybody with sufficient vision and minimal intelligence.

I think that Charlo took the first four rounds by controlling the distance with his jab and I also think it's fair to say that he won at least three of the remaining eight rounds. Even if you think Derevyanchenko won, you have to admit that he took awhile to get started. I give Derev credit for sticking with it after a rough start and he closed the fight strong, however I had Jermall Charlo winning 116-112.

That's fine, however neither guy was at their best by the time they fought. People like to point out that Manny was better in 2009 than he was in 2015 but it goes both ways.

I think Floyd aged better, but as you said, he was older so it cuts both ways.

My 2 cents is Floyd saw/knew something about Pac about him slowing down for him to finally take that fight. I suppose he was biding his time and waiting for that moment. As the A-side, Floyd could make whatever fight he wanted, so that one not getting made until 5 years after just makes sense to put it on him.

I don't know if Pac would have ever beat him but I don't know why else that fight was put off so long.

I don't know either but I know the fight itself grew in value like an investment in the stock market. Not that it helped us as fans in any way but it certainly helped their bottom line. That's the only benefit to putting off the fight for so long.

I've always felt that fight would have sold as well or better if it happened earlier. I for one would have bought it, but had no interest in it when it actually happened (though I did watch it on Youtube the next day).

Agreed, that was our "Leonard-Duran I" in 2009-2010 but instead we got a "Leonard-Duran III" in 2015.

Lol! Perfectly said. I similarly feel we could have gotten a trilogy out of May-Pac which would have sold boatloads by the time it was all said and done. But who knows how it really would have gone. Maybe May-McGregor wouldn't have happened then and that was certainly very lucrative for Mayweather.

No! No! No! No! No! While Derevyanchenko put a very spirited and valiant effort; He didn't come anywhere near close to defeating Jermall Charlo.

He tried but he was just simply outclassed and overmatched by the much stronger, larger and younger Charlo. A score of 116-112 for Charlo was about right.

Charlo's jab kept him at bay for most of the night and when he was able to get on the inside, he a paid a very heavy cost by absorbing Mall's right uppercuts and right crosses.
